March and step4 progress
  ConquistadoR, Mar 04 2009

Yo guys, today was the first day in March that I could play some poker, because my internet company has cut me off the Internet for 2 days. Im doing really good so far on NL25, and i hope to continue with it.

I got a small question regarding HEM, I have a different folder specified so that the progressed and imported HH's move there, and there is already tons of it in this folder, so I wanted to save some disc space by zipping these hh's, but in this folder, there are not only HH's, but also a lot of .tmp files, which are very small, maybe about ~1kb a bit. Do I have to store these or do you think it would make any harm if I delete them?

So anyway..... here's my small session from today.

Total NL25 so far, didnt play much yet but gonna play some marathon sesh's later today and tomorrow.

EDIT: I just openened the .tmp files with the Editor, and now I see that those are parts of HH's when I wasn't yet dealt in the hand, so I guess its safe to delete them aight?

Step 4 and end of February.
  ConquistadoR, Feb 28 2009

I'm done with NL10 now, and I just started my first small session of NL25. Play seems to be a lot different here, I hope I can succeed here too.
Here's the graph of first session:

Overall, February was very good, I grinded a LOT, I think it is definately the month with the most hands I ever played. I crushed NL2, NL5, and NL10, and now I am at NL25. I definately hope that I can make a good amount of $ at NL25 next month, in order to move up to NL50 soon.
Total feb, since I'm back on PS:

Bleh.
  ConquistadoR, Feb 23 2009

So right now I didnt play much until last time i posted, mostly because when I dont win I tend to lose motivation very fast, and because I started off so bad at NL10 I didnt really have much motivation to play during the last few days.

I donked off a shitload though in random tournaments and all, so now I will stop playing tourneys completely until I got a 2000$ br.

Today, I started playing a little bit NL10 and I ran bad as usual, but still managed to make a small profit. Well, im still down totally on this limit and it would probably be more profitable to play NL5 but I just want to beat every limit again, so Im gonna stay here, and hope my luck turns around. But I also noticed that my non sd-winnings are really bad on NL10, and on NL2 and 5 they were always break even, I guess ppl are playing back more here or something and not folding to cbets a lot, dunno.

Aight here are some graphs.
Today :

Total NL10 so far :

Need to get my grinding motivation back, because I dont want to waste time on this shitty limit anymore, just want to make my 20 buyins here, and then move up.

Step 3 : The beginning
  ConquistadoR, Feb 18 2009

Today I played my first NL10 sessions after making another ~50 out of NL5.

Guess what : Started off bad, in the middle of the session cards were cold as hell, and it ended with the most heinous suckouts that the world has seen. It looked like i could recover at some points, but then the ridicolousness got more and more, and after losing more than 70$ i decided to fck it and call it quits. So : My first losing day since I'm back on stars. But who cares, I will try to make it all back tomorrow. Very bad that variance just has to strike in harder as usual when I try to move up, very discouraging, but w-ever, I know that those guys are bad as hell and I should crush that limit, if my hands can hold up.

Step 2 officially done + a question.
  ConquistadoR, Feb 14 2009

Ok so after 4 days grinding I officially made my goal of making 200$ at NL5 as well.
Im not sure, I might grind out another 100$ here, and then change to NL10, make like 300 there and then go NL25. I've seen some small differences between the play there and the play at NL2, I'm really thrilled to see how ppl play at NL10.

So far everything works out really good, I'm feeling how my discipline is coming back, and I also nearly never get tilted anymore, because I get a lot of suckouts and just getting used to it!Have been mostly 15 tabling without a HUD, and just grind grind grind. Too bad I couldn't hit a milestone though. T_T

I'm also thinking about using this deposit bonus from Pokerstars, but problem is that at the moment, nearly all my money is on PS, and I kind of don't have any left that I could deposit. I wonder if anybody here could help me, it would go down like that : You send me money on FTP, or Neteller, and I deposit at Pokerstars and send you back your money + a little more for you immidiately. As an insurance, I send you half the amount of $ in advance @ PS. Just an idea, I am terrified by the idea of not being able to use a potential bonus that could help me really much. If anyone of you has another idea how I/we could do it feel free to post! Thx in advance.

Ok here are the results + graph from NL5.
