I get it in bad like its a hobby
terrybunny19240, Oct 23 2008
So sick of this. I win a couple of buyins and I always donk it off putting JJ TT QQ in preflop or on the flop. Its a waste of fucking time. I give nl50 fuckers way too much credit, they are fucking straightforward nits just like nl25 and nl0.
Brief run bad complaint.

WHAT THE FUCK CAN'T I GET A BREAK LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nothing that has happened has made any sense.. calling flop bet/turn shove with 3rd pair+gutshot in 3bet pot with no history
can't hit a pair
ahhhh fuck me

I sort of decided to move my roll to FTP from PS because I am still in the microstakes.. I figure the rakeback at FTP is my best bet.
I have between $950 and 1000 at PS I need xferred. I'll send first to a trustworthy member of the site..
Thanks guys.

Is god damn hilarious.. and depressing sometimes!
Obviously, its a huge all-in bingo fest a lot of the time. Eventually people get up to 65+++BBs and you can start playing but holy shit! Things just didn't work out for me.
I was stuck $1900 from preflop flips, never winning more than one before losing my stack. I got it in as 15%+ favorite probably 9/10ths of the time(run good preflop ^^). QQ vs AQ, AQ vs KQ etc.
I only managed to swing back up to -$1100. I finally got a stack going at the end of the weekend, and was then card dead for the next 6 or so hours 'til I gave up from exhaustion (and lack of action at 4AM monday morning. I tilted off about $300 which was retarded but D: )
My table broke or the fish left as soon as they won one of their 7way all-ins with JTs. A pretty disappointing weekend.
There are a couple of spots I am curious about and need to stick into an odds calculator.. Otherwise I believe played very well the couple of times I got to the flop.
Met a guy who plays a lot of home games and private games in my city. I think I will check 'em out soon.. I honestly don't have the roll now though.
I had a pretty degen-feeling time sleeping for 4 hours in my car saturday mid-morning 'til I walked back in to the casino Sunday morning. That was neat.
Meanwhile, my computer has killed itself (motherboard crapping out) and I can't afford a new one. Damn it all
/brief report.
I'd also like some advice from more knowledgeable players regarding my play at these tables..
Honestly when I have <$200 I am just waiting (sometimes a long time haha ) for AJ+, KJ/KQ, 66+(sometimes I limp smaller if there are 4+ limpers infront of me) and shoving or raising $30 and calling any shove or shoving pretty much any flop if I get flatted. Usually just shoving though. I get called by A2+, 89+, Kxs, K9+, 22+ all day long. So 9/10 I am a flip at worst and often I dominate them.
Am I playing correctly for this situation?
Also, I can't use pokerstove atm to help me figure it out, but what do the odds look like on calling a 3+ way all in with small pocket pairs? (22-99). Talking about with a 10-40BB stack. I folded 66 in a 5 way situation and I think it might of been a mistake?

Dunno why I seem to just lose lose lose here. Anyway, check out the cool thing that happens w/ the EV near the end.

2nd Live Session ever
terrybunny19240, Oct 06 2008
Please refer to graph

Played 2/5 with $100 buyin lul. I had a 170-200BB stack most of the day.
Good session overall, though it is a bit of a beat that I could of left at the 12 hour mark with +$600 but instead sat for 10 more hours and left with +$525. I was going to leave around that time, but this lady who just likes to throw money around sat down around then. She was happy to admit she had no idea what she was doing, at all. I am honestly not even sure if she knew the hand hierachy. Regardless, I lost $500 to her overall, which she immediately distributed back to the table whence from I had originally taken it. This was a repeating process. I just didn't end up in enough hands with her for it to work out for me.
She stayed the whole time I was there but I couldn't continue anymore after the 20 or so hour mark. I noticed I couldn't develop a read to save my life etc lol, and I was trying not to fall asleep (I had already been awake for 24+ hours).
I am satisfied with it overall, as for that session I came home with a net gain of $450 once you take gas and jack 'n coke costs into account
I still have good number of things I can adjust to make these games more profitable, and a couple of places where it would behoove me to stop spew calling. There is some.. psychology to live poker that you don't have with online. I've taken advantage of this but I know there's more to learn.
Also I didn't pick up a single live tell lol. Maybe with time .
I'll definitely be back over there every weekend I can
Why do I always sabotage myself?
terrybunny19240, Sep 28 2008
It seems like I always sabotage myself. In poker, I look at what I'm doing and know I am making a huge error. I go ahead and do it against my judgement. I usually lose in this situation.
I do the same thing in real life pretty frequently as well.
I don't know what this comes from? Low self-confidence? Too easy to tilt? Dunno.
Just felt like posting that after I literally busted MYSELF out of a tournament I was very deep in.

The box is where Bigbobm hooked me up with some rail time. Much appreciated Bob and even though the session didn't go particularly well I definitely garnered some good advice from him, so I can recommend him and I'll pay him for a coaching session sometime if I don't bust my roll first.
Ok, on to the whine.
WHAT THE FUCK DUDE??????????????????????????????
I can identify two, maybe 3 buyins as tilt. I don't think the rest is.. Look where Bob and I's session would of ended up if I didn't randomly stack someone at a deep table (lol he happened to be AFK during that hand.. hmm bad luck bob!?)
Pretty shitty at FTP
terrybunny19240, Sep 16 2008
I'm pretty much running like dogshit since I moved over to FTP yesterday. Two stacks down to shoved on flop combo draws, hitting turn, pairing board vs their set. Another stack to an over set, ahh just a shitty run so far. I'm playing with a gimped roll which sucks pretty bad.
Hurts when my leaks compound it obv. but c'mon.. AQ on Axx flop, I get 3bet, flat, check turn, they check back, 2 on river I vbet 1/2 pot they shove & I'm committed to pay off their SET OF FREAKING TWOS??? I guess the river was a check? I was expecting value from AJ/other ace rags
My HU todayz
terrybunny19240, Sep 13 2008
Ok, sooo things were going pretty good for the first couple of people I played. I picked up 5 buyins between 3 people and I was feeling goooood. Then I ran into that certain kind of player I can't seem to adjust to. They call my PFR and fold 90% of flops, but sometimes randomly wake up and of course they always have the better hand. Examples:
Out flopped! I felt like I was beat here though... should of folded, probably?
+ Show Spoiler +
Out kicked by the guy who really raped me today, I figured he would of 3bet AQ.. wrong.
+ Show Spoiler +
I was tilted this second one.. I hope I wouldn't usually play for 190bb here
+ Show Spoiler +
Yes all of that is MY money in his stack
Etc etc.
Some super hero named Donkey started railing me and helping me out, with his tipz plus some saved up run-good I had we won back 2.5 BI's. So I finish today around -2BI total. I had an 10 BI swing from the top of where I was today... totally sick ><
Some pro railed hands all thanks to the aforementioned rail god:

It sucks swinging like such a fucker from where I was, but I will keep working on it. I seem to be having trouble developing reads, or working up the balls to act on them.
