Wow, what a day at the 2/5 game. Played for 6 hours and did well. Stacked someone with JJJ vs their 2 pair, JJ/QQ for a huge pot. Definitely made a comeback at this game on tuesday night + tonight.

Day 26/27---Month 1 Complete!

lost $12 today, but today signifies the end of month one! excellent. I'll lump Day 1 of Month 2 in here as well because I only made $73. so the running total is:

I need to play a lot I've been slacking off and I'm afraid I'll fall behind. Been doing a lot of other stuff instead of working on this goal. I'll play all day today(Tuesday) and then go to the live game tonight at 7. Hopefully I can get myself over the 5k mark to start the new year and the second month of the challenge.

Oh, and in other news rapping up the month. I am proud to say that I dug myself out of the 3k hole i was in for the beginning of the month and actually made about $1,500 this month. Not great, but definitely great for having lost so much so early. Looks like it's time for month 2, GL me.

Played the 1/2 live game tonight for several hours. Made a decent amount, one hand that was controversial was the following:
Villain limps for $5 (We were doing one $5 blind short handed) => I raise to $20 with [6c 3c] => villain reraises to $50, we both have about 400 so I call.
Pot: 105 Flop: [Ac 2c 3d] Villain bets $50 after thinking a bit, I re-raise him all in for his last $205, He calls and flips up [Ad 2s] for 2 pair giving me a 40% chance to take the hand.
I obviously hit and he got pissed, which is why i'm posting this up, but I really dont think it's bad on my part. The only hands that are crushing me are AAA, 333, 222, A3...and 45 which I couldnt put him on because of the limp reraise (I obviously didnt put him on A2 either...) He bet so weakly that I put him on a high pocket and thought I could easily represent the AK/AQ or whatever but he called and I scooped it with the flush. It just seems like he obviously shouldnt have that hand, but if he has AK with no club im still a marginal favorite to win the hand. I figured that with his range I certainly had fold equity and just wanted to post this to get it out of my system.

Gah, played for like 9 hours at the live game and lost 110 bucks. Came home and jumped on 3 tables of 1/2 at UB and made 260 in like 10 minutes. Online >>>> live. Too bad it's fun when you cash out big at live games, they'll always keep me coming back. Anyways....

Guess I'm not quite over 10k bankroll after all, but I do take some out every once in a while to pay for stuff. Guess I shouldn't do that too often. Bankroll is at 9600 or so it looks like, so I need to do some more grinding but I feel like I'm right on pace. I think I'll start skipping the Tuesday night games because they arent really that profitable compared to if I spent the same amount of time online grinding.

Almost didnt play today but I got on really late ~1230 and proceeded to instantly lose almost 4.5 buy ins. I stuck around and grinded it out on 6 tables at UB and won it all back plus some profit in about 3 or 4 hours total. So...

Awesome I feel like this month should go really well. I'm really pissed that the rakeback people never e-mailed me back. I'm going to have to make a new account soon. Im missing out on some serious rakeback money.

Mmm, Not posting enough. Heh. I played very little all three days. (Guess I'm not playing enough then either.) I did manage to make 3 buy ins in a little under an hour today though.

Only like...$4,000 away from giving 2/4 a shot. 1/2 is going very well on UB, pretty much gave up playing at PokerStars except for tournaments. I have some money on there though, maybe I'll withdraw/play more tournaments.
