Whats up all, this month has been going pretty well for me so far after my recent prop bet victory. Have done a few interviews for poker sites and I've found articles wrote about my prop bet on a ton of differnt sites in every language, kinda cool actually and something I didn't expect from doing the prop bet. Thanks alot to one of my favorite sites, LIQUID POKER!!!, for putting an article on the front page about me, much love!
Icemonkey9 aka Sean Gibson is friends with the other guys that have a poker house out here in San Diego and came down the other day and interviewed me in person for a few sites he writes for. Very cool guy and thanks to him for writing my answers up in a nice way!
I finally got my money from the escrow on Tuesday so naturally I jumped into the highest games running/table selecting. I was doing really well a month back doing this but my downfall was when I started playing every 5/10 table running and not table selecting at all. Im pretty confident if I can stick to semi-strict table selection/not get it all in with 2 cards under 10, I should be able to do fairly well.
Here are my results so far for this month along with a few hands
Biggest Pot Ever won!!! Sick hold!

50k Hands/20 Hours Prop Win for 33k! Stats/Graphs!
Joeingram1, Dec 04 2009
I was going to wait until I officially recieved the money in my PokerStars account from the escrow fantasticcow but he is in Australia playing APPT and needs to verify his account in order to send me that large of a transfer, so until then I am pretty busto
Thanks to Liquid Poker for putting an article about me on the front page of the site!!! Much appreciation! I googled my name and actually found similar articles on about 10-15 other sites in just about every possible language, I really had no idea it would be that popular or I would have aimed for more hands!
I am happy to say that I achieved victory in my latest prop bet of playing 50k hands in 24 hours while showing a profit. It actually only took me 20 hours 2 minutes to achieve and after that time I was up approx 33 Buy-Ins from playing and $33,350 richer in prop bet money. I put up 13.5k of my own money getting 2.5-1 odds originally.
I must admit that this was probably one of the easiest things I have ever actually done and I felt like I could have played for days more while profiting in the games. How did this all get set up some have asked?? Well it was really all a perfect storm that came together. Originally I saw the article on pokerstarsblog.com for innerpsy playing 40,000 hands and I was a little annoyed because I had a session earlier in the year where I played 41,000 hands in about 20 hours so I felt the record should have been mine. Then I got into a hand prop bet with someone from 2p2 where we bet who could play the most hands and most of those hands I played at the NL25 games. During this time I realized these where quite possibly the worst players on the face of the earth playing here and if I actually tried there was no way I could possibly lose. This got me thinking about a prop bet I thought of doing long ago which was 50k hands in 24 hours while showing a profit. With this in mind, I knew that tableratings would be tracking my NL25 sessions so during these sessions I put in 0 effort at all of actually making money. I didn't use a HUD and basically just watched TV all session to get in hands for the prop bet I was in. Doing this I found it impossible to be down more then 8-12 Buyins. Finally during my last nl25 session before the bet I lost 600 dollars . After seeing all this people were lining up to bet against me!! I don't think they looked at the sessions I would play right after where I made 5+ buyins at 1/2 6max or 10 buyins at .50/1 but more so focused on my bad nl25 results. How could I really be a 2.5ptbb/100 winner at nl100 6max and losing at nl25?? lol. Anyways I made the thread on 2p2 and the gates flooded with action! I was obviously trying to take the max amount I could possibly take because I figured there was a 98 percent chance I would win this without a problem. I wanted to wait until Tuesday morning to start to take on more action but I knew Chiren was starting his million hand challenge at NL25 then so I had to do it Monday morning.
With many people following along in the 2p2 thread and on my webcam I was able to achieve my prop bet in 20 hours! I thought about going on for the extra 4 hours just to set a record no one could break but honestly my whole motivation behind this prop bet was to make the most amount of money possible in one day at NL25!
The world record was an afterthought that in the grand scheme of things really didn't mean to much. I mean Chiren played 6k more hands then me yesterday in 24 hours and he made $21 dollars. I did the same thing and made $34,000 lol. I am actually very glad Chiren is around because he really is the only person out there motivating me in these sort of mass volume prop bets. Some people think I am hating on Chiren but I really like him and am happy to see him putting in hands. It gives me a goal to shoot for in the future if I choose to do so. One thing I do find funny is all his WoW fanboys in the thread on 2p2 saying only Chiren can do 1 million hands and he is the ultimate grinder. I am going to be honest, if I wanted to play 1.1 mill hands in a month then I could do it without 0 doubt. Could I show a profit during it all??? I guess we will wait and see in a future prop bet
I am actually trying to come up with some ideas for future prop bets. I have been thinking about doing winning 10k at NL25 in one month, winning 13k at NL50 in one month, 1.1 Million Hands in 1 month with profit, 105k hands in 48 hours. All of these interest me but idk if I really want to put myself thru the hell that will come by doing any of these. After this recent prop bet I have more money then I ever dreamed I would have total in my bankroll so I don't know if it will be worth it to me to do another prop bet right now. Time will tell....
Many people have been asking me about my setup/hotkeys/scripts I use while playing. I will admit, these are things I would rather not give away as I feel like I probably have one of the most efficient setups with a combination of comfort playing/ability to utilize scripts and I feel like I could give most people out there my exact setup and they would see a good jump in there overall results.
My plans for December/January are to get myself back in great physical shape since I have been neglecting that part of my life the past few weeks. Book my trip to the PCA and meet a bunch of random online players that I have never met before. Try to make a profit in the 2/4+ games on PokerStars lol!! Continue falling in love with a certain asian woman currently in my life!!! LOVE!!!
Anyways here are my stats and graph for the epic session!
Thanks for reading this ridiculously long blog post and for following along on the challenge!
Will be starting this prop bet tomororw morning between 10-12AM eastern and hope to play 50k+ hands in a 24 hour period and show a profit. I am putting up about 13k of my own money in hopes of winning 30k! I will be playing all hands at NL25 on PokerStars and am very confident in my chances here. I feel like I have a good game plan going into all of this and should be able to be victorious. I will post daily updates on my blog and in 2+2 thread tomorrow and hopefully set a new world record for most hands come Tuesday Morning.
Thank you for the support from the LP community! Alot of nice people out there!
Hello LP world, I am thinking of doing this prop bet of playing 50k hands in 1 day with a....wait for it.... POSITIVE WINRATE. As most know my longgg sessions are usually because i am stuck 10-20+ BI but I like a challenge and want to give this a shot. Would be doing it at nl25 where my results so far are subpar. Want to bet with 2.5-1 odds which are really good considering I think it should be more like 4-1 but I Want action! I also will be webcamming the whole thing in my attempt to SET OFFICIAL WORLD RECORD for it, or at least according to pokerstars
The funny thing is, in july I played a session of 41000 hands (down 22BI) which is more then this "record" setter played of 40107 hands. Seems like a pretty bullshit record
Let me know in comments or PM if anyone is interested in betting against, thanks!
Finally got the situation worked out with this username thanks to baal/liquid meat. Much appreciation guys. The emails they were sending me were going into my spam folder for some reason.
My 6 day prop bet is in full swing right now, it is me vs another user on 2p2 who can play the most hands. I think after 3 days he is around 76k hands but I may be off by a little bit. I haven't really put that much effort into it to be honest, went on a date with my beautiful asian girl/friend but not actually girlfriend and then I took a bunch of time off yesterday on thanksgiving when she brought me a tray of food over for me to eat. Think I may have found a pretty good girl actually. The plan was to wake up today early and grind for 12-14 hours but I obviously slept a bunch so didn't get to play that much. I actually almost said fuck it after i went on super tilt playing 24 nl100 6max fast tables because i was losing money and the overall point of this prop bet was to get motivation to grind and actually MAKE money playing/also reach 600k vpp milestone/fpps. I took a short break after that session, ate some food and then decided to buckle up and play 1/2 and not do all fast or 24 tables. Was able to make back what I had lost + some and then went back to NL25 to grind some hands out there/try to master the level. I wanted to see what potential winrate could be achieved at nl25 6max but I dont think the best way to figure it out is playing all fast tables and not thinking about any decisions at all like I have been doing there so far. Was stuck like 8 BI there today and then sat up in my chair and focused and made it all back and was up 8 BI until I zoned out again.
For the total hands I am at 71k hands in 3 days! Not bad but could be doing better imo.
Time to get some sleep and then play a bunch tomorrow. The girl wants to hang out tomorrow/do something fun but i dont know if I will be able to do that and still win this prop bet. Might need to sacrifice some life ev one time lol!
And I need to change my email this account is registered to, who the heck do I have to email/ get in touch with to be able to change my password because when you sign up they just randomly make you something and if your email gets deleted, how the H do you change it???
A fun graph of how I suck
cant think about poker ne more, need to workout
And to the gay people that commented on my halloween costume lol, I am not a fucking bodybuilding workout machine pro. I workout a few times a week to stay in shape. Sorry my so and so doesnt line up right with whatever else. The women still enjoy it from reading the comments I have like the worst physique of anyone in the poker world though apparently
Am finally getting settled in out here in San Diego. Me and my friend Kris moved out here about a week ago and finally got my computer desk/bed/chairs in my pod today and unpacked most of that stuff. Our place we are renting out here is pretty sick, the complex has pool/jacuzzi/workout room/tanning place/bunch of other random stuff and a bunch of good looking women which can't ever be a bad thing.
Some pics
Theres a few other poker players that I have been hanging out with here that either live her/renting including fantasticcow, petteytheft, bw07507, zachvac, abstractpb.
Me, my roomate, cow and bw went out a few nights down in PB and for Halloween in downtown and it was pretty amazing. I dressed up in my chippendale costume and it was def a super ++++ev costume to have it. The women loved it!
On the poker front, I have not really been focused on poker at all lately. Had a few bad days that cost me alot of money but meh, will have to grind it back eventually. Right now just trying to enjoy all there is to offer out here and hopefully find myself a wife in the process and see all the fun places in california. Time for bed, thanks for reading
Month going well! I love the pro hunters on Stars!
Joeingram1, Oct 18 2009
Been a few days since I updated the blog. Last few days have been very swingy for me at 5/10+. I have been getting a little more adventurous lately as far as playing 10/20 and 5/10, meaning slacking on game selecting. I will usually start out a session by game selecting a few tables that look good or have a good seat open but then before I know it I am playing all the 6max/fr games and depending on the 10/20 lineups, those games as well. Has a pretty fun session the other night where I was 6 tabling 10/20 and had 6k stacks on a few tables before I imploded and lost like 7k in a few hands by making pro moves and not folding.
Here is one of the hand against 2 of the weaker players at the table, probably should just fold preflop but once the preflop raiser checks the flop, I figure fanen can be taking a stab at it with any two here and I thought the turn was a good card to barrel. But when he calls the turn I pretty much knew for sure he had AxHH and was hoping I could make him fold the river Hate giving up on pots lol spew

My 4 other big losses from the session were hands I should have just folded but still dont have the dicsipline to yet but hopefully will be able to in the future. I did make one pretty move that worked out well, am happy I didn't lose 4k in the hand though lol. My plan for the hand once I called the flop was to try to take the hand away from him which he made easy with the sizing

Finally got to play some with the living legend nanonoko today at 5/10 and the rumors I have heard are true, he is awesome and always has it. There were only a few 5/10 6m games running and nano was sitting at 2 trying to start games so I figured why not, I like a challenge lol. Lost a few flips, he always has a set and never bluffs before the tables finally filled up and I had to chase losses! I am enjoying playing many people HU to get games started as I think it is helping my overall HU game alot, even though it is defintly costing me in $$$. Just means I have to grind longer in my sessions sometimes. I also am amazed at some of the pro bumhunters on Stars, I don't know where these guys come from but they just insta sit on the fish left after you sit there for awhile alone trying to get games started. I've always heard about it but didn't actually realize how sick it is until lately. I admit that sometimes I will sit to a fish left quickly but I am also playing all other tables and usually trying to start games myself. These mother fuckers just tilt me so much, esp when I play a fish for a few hands and lose some, then dc_publius comes and sits on his left and then the fish either gives whoever the money/leaves when it gets 3 handed. Imeasy2read is the ultimate hunter though, never seen someone hunt for as many hours as he does. Tilting writing about this to. Mehhh
Heres my graph since I last updated the blog, swingyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy as hell. I'm getting my comfortable playing the games and in turn my redline is starting to go up/more variance. Also running kinda bad in AA aipf doesn't help but meh, it happens.
Graph for the month now, alot of random nl100/nl25 hands in there also lol
I've been watching this show Dollhouse nonstop today and finally decided to give it a rest and play some actual poker around 11pm or so. I need to clear this 4k FPP bonus and get closer to the 600k milestone so I decided to 24 table some nl100 6max. Haven't really played a long session at nl100 in awhile and basically was just playing nutso for awhile. I didn't look at my HEM till about 8k hands in to see how much I was down and I was stuck a lovely 13BI lol. So I decided to start trying and stop watching movies/talking on AIM and recovered in about 3k hands. Was a pretty overall boring session for me as I wasn't really trying to make money at first but just pass some time and get in some hands.
Graph for the session
And graph for the month now lol, pretty fkn ridiculous
