Like you said, edge in poker ain't that big. On average people on NL100 are only slightly better (or not at all) than people on NL50 and considering your winrate is VERY good, you are just stunning your bankroll growth by not moving up.

+1 what's wrong with taking shots with super low move down limit or playing a table of NL100 alongside your normal session?

If you have the discipline to move down your risk of ruin is only slightly increased. It's poker folks, none of the great players play purely one limit

I cant tell the if people are being sarcastic or not on this thread... However, i think it really depends on you. If you are capable of moving down in stakes after losing a few buyins, I dont see a reason not to. If you are incapable of moving down, go ahead and wait for 3k or w/e till ur comfortable. As for me personally, I always took shots once i reached 20-30 bis and dropped back down. This went on for my whole poker career till i decided I couldnt beat 200nl for a reasonable/sustainable rate and just decided to cash out the roll basically and freeroll life for a few months while looking for a job.

Edit: People are always gonna berate you whether you follow 15 buyin rule or 50 buyin rule, find out what works for you, stick with it, work hard on your game, and fuck the haters.

Hope this helps, good luck.
