hi everyone,

this is one of my first post there at LP, and i'm not sure where i should be posting this
i'm a rather new player and i'm looking to improve my game

nl5 graph: the blue and red lines make the green line really flat but it goes up nicely for the last 10k hands and that enabled me to go to nl10

nl10 graph: i'm starting to feel more comfortable playing this limit these days but not as comfortable as nl5; plus this graph is not up to date as i lost 10+ buy-ins lately, i'm dropping back to nl5

overall stats for both limits

positions stats for both limits

detailed stats for both limits

feel free to give your thoughts on these,
thanks!

your probably playing too many tables, how many are you playing?

playing fewer tables and finding more spots to pick up chips will help with that redline

it looks to me like your just mass tabling like i used to. your not gonna learn anything about poker like that.

Why are your stats the same for UTG and the BTN? Position is KEY.

how can u shove the river, he cant possibly call with worse -TalentedTom

listen to jeff hes pretty smart ^.^

i dont see that many other glaringly obvious stat problems, i find it strange that you have an incredibly high aggression % overall, yet you showdown a LOT (27% of the time?) which seems contradictory :O , i'd have to see some hands to figure out whats really going on, but i bet position is a really good start heh

it should be more like

PFR:

UTG 6%
MP 10%
CO 20%
BTN 30%
SB 20%
BB 5%

or more exaggerated, but even getting to that point would probably take a lot of adjustment :S

thanks for the answers

i play starcraft too, so i guess that's why i play on too many tables (usually 16 to 20, maybe i'll try to lower that by half)
i'll also try playing more hands on the button

exactly what I expected. if you continue being a (basically) breakeven player you need to drop down to 3-4 tables so you can watch all the players and pick up on tendencies, and watch how the good players are playing based on position. i started out 20 tabling like you, and dropping down to a few tables seemed sooo boring, but trust me you will learn soooo much more playing few tables, you have so many leaks right now that need plugging. when you learn more about the game, it applies to all your tables, so you can continue adding tables again. then watch your winrate go up tons.

Hearing about ex-sc pros that now 24table poker and win hundreds of thousands of dollars per year wont really help you. You could be really good at sc but playing 16 tables just cause u can click buttons fast enough wont win you cash. Start at 4 tables and go off from there. You are obviously positionally unaware and basically play the same range of hands from any position. While that seems to be ur only leak to beat the 10nl games its so huge that it can even turn a probably winning 10nler to a breakeven guy at best. When you learn the basics and start applying multiple concepts to your game you will eventually be able to play more tables. Yes 4 tabling sucksass but its the only way you ll learn

dont post stats post hands instead, stop worrying about reaching silverstar or whatever and focus on your leaks, i guess u play poker to win money in the long run cause thats u should do and best way to do that is to play less tables.

Your won$whenseenflop is low and you're cbetting 67%, both of these are low and are directly related to each other and your red line.

Try cbetting a lot more. Just be sure to give up when you don't have it. I'm fairly confident that ~90% cbet is optimal sub nl50 and I would much rather see it at 100 than 65.

Not much else you can do about it playing at nl10 and lower with the stats you've given. I'd just cbet a lot more and post all the hands you're confused about. No shame in asking questions, we've all been there. Some people may give harsh advice, but you're not going to get better if you don't ask when you don't know.

It also helps to get people to sweat you. Try pm'ing people playing a couple stakes higher than you and get contact info, if you make poker friends it helps a ton with growth because you can just send them tons of small questions or spots you have problems with rather than making a thread. Sometimes all you really need is someone to bonce ideas off of.

I'm a bit confused about that. A few weeks/months ago i was having a higher flop cbet% and i was told that having a cbet % that high with a big gap with the turn cbet % is a huge leak, because people start floating you with nothing. So i started cbetting less to fill the gap between the flop cbet and the turn cbet %

It is definitely a leak vs people who know what's going on, but at nl10 and lower people aren't going to to be exploiting you at all or adjusting and you are going to be making a ton of money off cbets.

Having a cbet higher than 70% is a huge leak as well

cbetting 100% at these stakes is probably good
