can someone plz explaine to me why people do this? By this i mean loan money to people and coach them for profit? Why don't they just play poker themselves and invest money into companies rather than individuals you hardly know?

1) If you read the OP, you would know that the coaching is from FenderJaguar, from deucescracked. he makes videos there, and gets very high ratings.
2) Why am I looking here; if you had any business sense, you would know why
3) Yes, you're right. If this is a passport scam. I GOT YOU! But I'm sure I can make more money playing poker and staking than doing something illegal and highly risky.

1: You arent really very clear in the OP as to what the deal actually is. If the coaching is from him, who are you? Do you coach?

You should really have put a little more effort into your OP. All you do is bark about what people must provide in order to be considered, theres not really anything about what they receive in return (apart from a coaches name)

2: Youre looking for 4 - 6 people only, you really dont need to canvas the entire community and every forum to look for that. So it only really makes sense if you were looking for as many as posible. If YOU have any business sense you should try not coming off as an obnoxious asshole.

3: Its more just a warning to people not to go handing around details of the single most important document they will ever own. That said, the whole idea of entering a staking deal and having to provide your personal details as some kind of insurance so you can fuck them up if anything happens sounds absurd.

Actin like ur Joe Peschi from GoodFellas.
WHERES MY STAKE SPIDER! YOU STUTTERIN-MUTTERIN PRICK YA

Bryne: initially, I thought you were trolling becase, well, a lot of the previous posts were trolling me, so I assumed you were as well. After rereading your post, it doesn't seem that you were trying to troll me at all, and for that, I apologize. I guess I just assumed that your LOL instameant you were trolling.

anyway, You're right that I should put more about what the horse would get in this deal, I'll add that to my posts from now on.

I disagree with your 2nd comment, but we'll just agree to disagree. Cept I turned into an obnoxious asshole b/c the community was trolling me in the beginning, but w/e.

3rd comment: if anything goes wrong, i mean that they scam me. I've had plenty of horses that have lost money, and we've parted on good terms. I understand there is variance in the game, and sometimes I pick bad horses. That's not what the ID is for. The ID is for if they try to run off with my money, and cut all contact with me.

we got our issue settled , it was a prob with my references not pm'ing him back, which is not surprising

Don't be paranoid of the trolling, so this question is purely logical: If your students play 10k hands a week minimum, and you have been doing this for at least 7 months and, not being an idiot, you are going to present your best results as an advertisement; why is the best results you can show over only a 40k hand sample? To me this adds up to not all that.

Researchers used brain scans to show that when straight men looked at pictures of women in bikinis, areas of the brain that normally light up in anticipation of using tools, like spanners and screwdrivers, were activated.

wait, wut? i fixed my typo, it was only for 6 weeks, not 6 months. someone pointed it out to me earlier.

usually when you see an advertisment

the ad is telling you how good it is, and why you should buy it (your pretty much selling coaching here)

your op basically makes a lists a bunch of demands, not the most enticing, i'd like more information about the areas you would help people improve

The LP community is largely over-cynical and hates every newcomer that doesn't immediately come off as "loyal" to LP, especially if he comes in and uses the forums as a vehicle for his business. If you had any "business sense" you should have foreseen this as it's a long-standing trait of this community. I can't speak on behalf of the entire community because I'm still a random, but I apologize in part of LP for the cynicism, but now that that's over with, you need to deal with everything past the cynicism (which includes the honest criticisms) or else you only serve to reflect poorly in the views of the community. That's all I have to say about that.

Secondly, anyone who truly is breaking even at 50nl will benefit from this. FenderJaguar (I've never seen any of his videos or know who he is personally) does not need to be CTS or Krantz himself to teach you how to beat 50nl. I'm sure I have no official credibility/$$millions myself but people pay me to help them at 50nl and it helps them move up. It's 2010, if you're still at 50nl after years of playing and breaking even you need to do something about it. Look at it as an investment. I myself have paid thousands of dollars in the form of coaching from some incredibly great players. Am I at 25/50? Nah, but I'm consistently winning more and more in a time where games just get tougher and tougher. Could I get to where I am now without having spent money on coaching? Probably, but it'd be a long while from now. Don't look at it as a matter of $ but as a matter of time. What these guys are trying to do is cut the time it takes for you to personally move up from 50nl to 100nl.

Salutary, yes I've already addressed that in my post above.

Panorama; thank you for that, I should have handled the trolling more professionally, I agree. Regarding the constructive criticisms that have been posted, I am genuinely thankful for everyone that has given me the advice, and plan to apply it the best I can.
