Is it more healthy to sleep at night ? Or the quality of your sleep doesn`t really depends on what part of the day you sleep ?

Now I only drink maybe every other weekend, but everytime I drink I get really hot, I mean I start sweating and even while others are cold and complaining about the AC Im sweating my balls off and have to take my shirt off because of the heat i feel.

and I stay like this for like 1 more day.

I never went to the doctor or anything, help did all my alcohol abuse from the past fucked something up?

what in your honest opinion is a good amount of sleep per night (hour-wise)? Assuming the number is say like, 8, is there a substantial difference if this was from like 3 or 4 AM to 11 or 12, compared to like 12 AM to 8 AM?

I'm having issues with oversleeping, typically sleeping like 9-11 hours a day since I'm not going to school this quarter so I don't really have much to wake up to besides poker grinding, so I don't feel the need to wake up early or anything. How bad is this?

thank you

this. i also have issues with oversleeping, i sleep like 9-10 hours daily.

Might as well post this one since many people have asked me this already.

Were all different so 8 hours is just a average amount of sleep they think the average person should get. If you sleep 10 hours a day, i don't see a problem with that, just as long as you wake up and feel energetic and feel good, thats all that counts. Some ppl only sleep 6 hours a day and feel like that, so it really depends on the person. Theres also different sleeper catagories, i watched a study on it actually last year, and your classified as a "night owl", which means you get sleepy at 2-4am. Night owls are actually the easiest to train your brain to sleep at any time. If you want to sleep at lets say 10pm but thave trouble, go to your local wall-mart pharmacy section and pick up some melatonin, and take 4-5mg 30 min before you go to sleep. It resets your circadian rhythm which tells your brain when your sleepy, so the next night you want to fall asleep at the same time you took the melatonin the day before. I've tried it myself and it works wonders. No prescription needed.
