i wonder out of all the stars we just seen, how many support living planets like ours.
In my cluelessness (I study economics) I daresay 0. AFAIK the smaller ones in the example are close enough to be examined for Earth-like planets and they lack them, and giants are either already in their final stages (the red ones) - thus already expanded to their pre-nova size and destroyed any potential planetary systems they had, as our own Sun will in due time - or too unstable and shortliving to support Earth-like planets and the growth of potential intelligent lifeforms. Dual systems can't really have planets around them where life may evolve either, their temperature would cahnge too randomly on a huge scale as their distance changes from either of the stars.
