yeah but for "saving" their pennies folding preflop they lost the oportunity to win a showdown wich would give them an extra 90k profit.

By folding, they passed up on roughly +15k EV. Losing $3 about 5/6 of the time was too much variance, I guess.

She probably won't lose 100k at poker, she'll cash it out and spend it on something else, which is what most players would do. The money is gone from the poker economy. This is why Mike Caro doesn't like jackpots.

She'll prolly just blow it at 25/50 trying to become the next Jennifer Tilly.
