Other

- Augusto Mendes was pulled from a bout against Merab Dvalishvilli due to a potential Anti-Doping Policy violation stemming from an out-of-competition sample collected on March 7, 2018. He was replaced by promotional newcomer Ricky Simon on March 30.
- Magomed Bibulatov was scheduled to face Ulka Sasaki at the event. However, Bibulatov was removed from the event, citing back injury and the bout was cancelled.
- At the weigh-ins, Aspen Ladd weighed in at 137.8 pounds, 1.8 pounds over the bantamweight non-title fight upper limit of 136 pounds. Ladd offered Leslie an additional $5,000 on top of her 20% purse deduction to Leslie Smith. However, the fight was removed from the card after Smith refused to fight at catchweight. Subsequently, the UFC paid Smith her show and win money but then released her from the promotion.

- Frankie just got finished on March 3rd.
- He already beat Cub Swanson before, and it was a beat down, not even close.
- This event is in New Jersey, which is where Frankie is from.

Seems like a good spot for Frankie to lose, and everyone will be surprised and say he is done and should retire.

It's the last UFC event before we go on a 3-week break. UFC won't return until May 12.

Maybe i'm wrong, and i do tend to be wrong, but i think Ortega is a better fighter than we think, potential future champ. Frankie should still be able to beat Cub whitout a problem.

But the odds kinda seem to agree with you. Frankie is only -200, which is the same as their first fight that he crushed him in.

I expect Frankie to beat Cub, but it's a 3-round fight, and Frankie usually starts off slow.

If Cub can stuff the first 1-2 take downs, he can get comfortable and throw hard shots for at least 2.5 rounds.

Sick finish by Siyar!

Front kick to the belly, then a clean uppercut as Chagas was falling to the ground.

Too bad I'm already fucked on DraftKings after just 3 fights... Oh well.

David Branch with a career-saving knockout!

He probably would've got cut if he lost to Santos.

Frankie Edgar looked as good as usual, while Cub fought like it was a 5-round fight against someone with bad cardio.

I'm surprised Cub re-signed with the UFC and fought Frankie again for his first fight. Cub got raped in their first fight, and clearly lost a one-sided pitter-patter decision in their second fight.

DOMINATION from Kevin Lee.

Granted, he got hit by one clean spinning kick that almost finished him, but aside from that, it was a one-sided fight.

Champion: Khabib Nurmagomedov (wants to fight in November)

1. Conor McGregor (no idea when he'll return)

2. Tony Ferguson (still recovering from a major leg surgery, so he'll be out healing from that, then he'll have to spend an additional 3+ months in camp for whoever he fights. I assume he won't return in 2018)

3. Eddie Alvarez (1-1-1 in last 3; he turned down a rematch versus Poirier several times, even though it's the only fight that makes sense)

4. Dustin Poirier (3-0-1 in last 4; Draw against Eddie Alvarez)

5. Edson Barboza (he'll switch to #6)

6. Kevin Lee (he'll switch to #5)

7. Justin Gaethje (2-fight losing streak, both via TKO)

8. Nate Diaz (no idea when he'll return; he only wants to fight Conor)

9. Michael Chiesa (was supposed to fight last weekend until Conor damaged a bus and glass from the bus cut Chiesa's face; he will probably try to sue Conor for a lot of money before he takes another fight, plus Chiesa picks his fights and will wait a long time to avoid the best guys)

10. Al Iaquinta (just lost to Khabib last weekend)

11. James Vick (4-fight win streak; everyone avoids him in this division)

12. Anthony Pettis (1-2 in last 3 fights; his fight versus Chiesa was cancelled last weekend due to Conor's bus incident)

13. Alexander Hernandez (1-0 in the UFC; he beat Beneil Dariush on short notice)

14. Paul Felder (3-fight win streak; he was called out tonight by Dan Hooker and accepted the fight, so they might fight later in 2018)

15. Olivier Aubin-Mercier (4-fight win streak; he just beat Evan Dunham two weeks ago on short notice)

Barboza has to be smarter and just accept fights with strikers
