if he's spewy he's gonna have most combos of Tx ss Jx ss and most other spades. most Qx and we have outs vs 2 pair +

Seems like you're destroying his range. As played I don't see how you can get away from the hand. He has less than pot left. You have TPTK with nut flush draw... Jam? Or bet small, jam river.

Any discussion re calling the jam vs shipping after fishy called?

are we opposed to a 145-160k bet here? builds the side pot and is not an unreasonable amount relative to your remaining stack (~ 150k out of the ~ 650k you have on the turn). If you spade river, you can look to capitalize with a larger sized river bet. if river bricks, you can look for for showdown. you want to make your money against those KQ and AT hands (cause if hes spewy hes probably going to call a turn bet with his draw again). QJ and JJ are the hands that make the most sense for him to have to beat you, though i think he might re ship JJ...and really, QJ should be a fold to that pf ship....

I also don't hate a check back if you want to reduce the variance in the hand and take advantage of your edge. You can allow him the opportunity to bluff on a river with or without a spade coming.

I do not like re jamming after fishy guy calls the shorter stack ship pf. we don;t know enough about his hand, but thats just my opinion....different story if the stacks are different but we are 2nd and 3rd in chips and still a good ways away from the real money.

its not spewy to call turn with a draw if villain is betting so small that you get proper odds chris, pretty sure shoving is the highest ev play here

Jlost said he wanted to avoid variance and big pot.. I don't mind a shove

Thanks fayth. Glad for input. That said so you dislike a bet?

Don't get me wrong sometimes ev depends on your current bankroll too.

No, EV never depends on your current bankroll wut they are not even connected and shouldn't be, you don't want to have emotional biases in a logic based game

i like checking back turn; give AK a chance to bluff (and if u dont think he can have that you should prop rip pre.) Not a ton to get value from, 1010 folds to a decent sized bet. u lose to 99/JJ even slowplayed AA/KK. K10 you dont block at all if hes rly a fish. having the FD makes protection far less important.

yeah well I was talking about direct EV of the current spot, not really accounting for future sessions or whatever
