This movie definitely looks like it was directed by a fan and someone who very familiar with the original. They actually appear to have copied numerous scenes directly from the original but I'm ok with that since they look amazing in live action.

Shame they ruined it with that godawful remix of a perfectly good song.

I've only ever saw ghost in the shell 2nd gig s.a.c. is there something else i should go back and watch?

Pretty good from what I can remember but that was back when I watched anime. Dont know if I'd still like it today.

i didnt feel anything watching that trailer. but i guess its good to feel underwhelmed than overhyped.

idk for me this was super cringy, guess im not an anime guy

Based on the resemblance between the trailer and the actual anime film, definitely not.

I saw the original anime, felt like it was a setup for something much better. The movie should be at least decent as well though.. worst case scenario you get to see Johansson's tits so, well played PR

I don't know anything about anime in general but I thought the trailer for this looked amazing

fwiw, i think it's a relatively harmless statement, but not sure if that makes me part of the problem/ignorant.
