He's gonna eat a lot of shots when triying to close the distance.

Wonderboy handles distance simply too well for Woodley to connect with the right, he isnt even going to be close, it will be like his fight vs Rory McDonald but he will take even more punishment.

I dont know if Woodley can rought him up with dirty boxing against the cage or something but since I havent even seen Woodley try that out Ill assume he wont even go for it, he is drawing dead vs Thompson

Strange people think Woodley is this monster now. Still the same guy who barely won a split over a Kelvin half dead from weight cutting and got completely schooled by Rory like he was a child. One punch over a guy who's been in a ton of wars lately and been hurt badly several times on top of almost certainly coming off PEDs and looking smaller doesn't change that. I mean I'm sure he's improved some but I haven't seen any evidence to suggest there's been a big leap in skill.

Woodley striking isn't much different than Roy Nelsons lol. I mean he's more technical with his right hand but thats about all hes got. Plod forward and try to land his overhand right. Very small chance he lands that on Wonderboy. Even if he is able to get a few takedowns early he will gas and Wonderboy will end him between rounds 3-5.

Sounds like Woodleys next opponent is GSP. Honestly wouldn't be shocked if Woodley beat him with an early KO. GSP wrestling looked much worse after his knee injury. His explosiveness was significantly worse. Since then hes had another major knee injury and several years off and has exited his physical prime at 35. That said Woodleys striking still sucks and as shown in the Rory & Shields fights the jab completely shuts him down, and GSP has a great jab. I'd favor GSP obviously, not sure by how much though. Too many variables with his time off.

Hey Im slinging mad volume and fat stackin benjies I dont got time for spellin n shit - skinny peteLast edit: 02/08/2016 22:40
