flip a coin, fold 60% call 40% - villian dependent can swing that to a call or fold - most ppl wait for river to make a play these days

idk this seems like an easy fold,no? Why would we want to call especially when both hero and villain size bets this big? It's not like we can't have Ad here

new shit has come to light... a-and... shit! man...Last edit: 15/06/2016 10:32

It's actually closer to 40% call, 60% fold (more like 35/65) And that is if you assume villain is balanced which he is most likely not. Prob value heavy

Where can I get a coin that flips 60/40?

Response just take a marker and write 60% on 1 side and 40% on the other

Get a 10 sided die or number or RNG

Isn't this more a situation where we just use alpha to see where this particular 9d hand falls into our range?

Also, not sure how to calculate alpha in spots like this where villain must match the hero's bet + add in a raise (as opposed to just betting half pot, pot, 1.5 pot and opponent must call that same amount) Can anyone help with this??

thats a pretty big raise in a board with a possible straight flushdraw, this seems like a very easy fold and I think calling unexploitably here is a big mistake

Agreed with Baal, wouldn't call here. When people bluff they like to have blockers, people massively underbluff these spots because they have no relevant blockers and you're uncapped, there are ways you can have Ad.

Also, I'd bet turn

One day good. One day bad. And some days, even hope
