i start with a check on this river john, i proceed to call any allin and be happy when he flips over 1 pair.

x/x has to be more +ev itlr than just jamming imo.

lostaccount   Canada. Jun 15 2016 06:14. Posts 6796

hes passive, hes never bluffing so when he bets its always 2pairs or better so its either cf or jam

if you have a read that hes a passive fish that'll never bluff I guess you can jam if you dont like money

Shove the turn, your half pot bet is terrible vs a fish on this board imo. There's loads of ways you can be forced to lose value on the river, such as this very situation.

Researchers used brain scans to show that when straight men looked at pictures of women in bikinis, areas of the brain that normally light up in anticipation of using tools, like spanners and screwdrivers, were activated.

villian is a shorstack and on that board you will get a lot of calls pair + J, Jx and also from pairs that think you have Jx, its a good board to overbet but you probably should have planned your sizing better on the flop.

I mean if we're targeting Jx w/o a pair then its an easy shove turn yeah. I'd bet 14-pot flop though.
Didn't notice he s a shortstack so my bad there. However as played I don't feel like Jx no pair will be inclined to call an overbet. Question is if we get the 7x X = pair type of stuff to call as well which might result in a shove too, but his range is practically made of hands that crush us and those that have huge equity

turn shove is fine, it's barely an overbet, it's like 1.33x pot lol

Im not sure what to do tomorrow when I see her, should I shake her hand?? -Floofy
