Last month, Steve O'Dwyer became the first ever EPT Super High Roller double champion. Tonight, he became the first double winner of the EPT One-Day High Roller as he took down the PCA $50k One-Day High Roller for $945,495. after he cut a deal with Connor Drinan heads-up. What's more impressive is that there were only five events played in this format as they appeared on the schedule for the first time at the EPT11 Grand Final.

O'Dwyer is the biggest EPT (super) high roller winner with nearly €5 million in cashes. He also has an EPT Main Event title under his belt as well as a runner-up finish. His $14 million in live tournament winnings put him in #15 in the all-time money list.

O'Dwyer turned on an absolute beast mode fourteen months ago, when he took down the APPT Macau $500k Super High Roller for $1.8 million. He amassed $4,879,828 in live tournament winnings (split between 24 cashes) last year alone. During the first ten days of January 2016, he's already added nearly another $2m to his name. Prior to his departure to the Bahamas, O'Dwyer was fourth in the WPT $200k Triton Super High Roller in Philippines for $953,700.

Reigning EPT Player of the Year Dzmitry Urbanovich was railing the final table and cheering for O'Dwyer. Three-handed, the Irishman spiked a lucky 3-outer versus Ivan Luca when he was facing elimination. When the PCA $50k One-Day High Roller got down to heads-up, O'Dwyer was pointing to the Polish youngster that he's already won four of the large EPT trophies awarded to the EPT Main Event and High Roller champs. It's no suprise it was the most of all players, and O'Dwyer picked up his fifth today to extend the lead over Martin Finger and Philipp Gruissem, who are tied with three.

Connor Drinan is yet to lift his first. The fist pumps of O'Dwyer and Urbanovich were symbolic to the 26-year-old American as Drinan came twice just shy of winning an EPT High Roller. First time, it was Urbanovich who denied him heads-up in the EPT11 Malta €25k High Roller while tonight, Drinan was second to O'Dwyer and took $870,625.

Argentinian wunderkind Ivan "Negriin" Luca had been dominating the tournament with a massive chip lead until four-handed play, but was eventually eliminated in third place. However, he collected $494,080 for that, setting his new top mark.
Isaac Haxton is also having a truly great time at this year's PCA. Yesterday, he scooped $360,060 for sixth in the $100k SHR and it took him only one day to better it as he secured $380,200 for a fourth place in today's one-day high roller.
Erik Seidel added another great result to his almost neverending list of cashes. The #3 in the all-time money finished fifth and banked $301,080. PCA 2016 $100k Super High Roller champ Bryn Kenney also appeared on the final table, finishing seventh for $185,280.
