A reverse HUD? Sounds like a terrible idea tbh :D

Why is that terrible ? When I play sometimes its really obvious that i have like 75%+ fold to steal or something due to variance and low sample size... And all these HUD geeks try to steal my BB every time and make it too obvious what they are doing.... And fail really bad.

:D

Ok lets take those 2 scenarios:

Scenario 1 - you play a set strategy, meaning two things, you are quite aware of your image in the long run, you re getting exploited by better opponents, but that will happen anyway, and you crush ppl you have advantage against. Anyways by having a "reverse" HUD you would only start doing unnecessary moves agaisnt opponents you haven't played that long , meaning they can be just running hot, even if they are starting to go crazy, it would be bad for you to change ur strategy considering its winning simply because you are already crushing them playstyle wise and there is no reason to do that. Only thing that would happen is to set urself up for a spew

Scenario 2- you re mega good and can adjust instantly and you play against such opponents too that change styles and blah blah, well considering you re so good I really doubt you need such a HUD anyways :D

If you re folding 75% of ur bb ofc that they ll spam steal it 100%
HUD wont help if you dont understand how and why are you being exploited which is the case imo

Why does this make "real time hand recording" and "coloring" of stats sounds like they are these new, revolutionary, unheard of features? HM and PT have had this stuff for ages... What exactly am I missing here? Because to me it sounds like a desperate pitch to people who have never used, seen or heard of a poker HUD before...

Nitting it up since 2006

Hi everybody,

We wanted to provide you guys with some official answers from Jivaro to avoid any confusion.

Jivaro is an Icelandic company formed in 2011 with a goal to build a new social platform for online poker players. We are currently in closed beta but we are actually going into open beta tomorrow… so a very exciting time for us right now.

Jivaro is first and foremost a social platform providing you with tools such as a HUD for FREE… yes I said it, for FREE!

As in every BETA, the software is obviously not complete and missing some of wanted features, however we have a very solid foundation in our software and are developing features rapidly, so feedback from users is what we want so we can make the best product.

Jivaro is for poker players, made by poker players.

So let’s talk about your questions:

Q: Does Jivaro work on American sites?
A: No, I’m sorry it doesn’t, Jivaro currently only supports Pokerstars, but in the future we will support more clients.

Q: Does Jivaro work on OS X?
A: Not currently, but we are huge Mac fans and have starting working on it and we will support OS X very soon!

Q: What makes Jivaro “real time”?
A: Jivaro records your hands in “real time”, what we mean by that is we record the hand as it progresses,
not waiting for Pokerstars to update the hand history file. By doing so you can share or view a replay of the hand with the actual time it took for your opponents or yourself to make a move, making the experience much more real.

I hope this answered some of you questions, if you have any other questions or suggestions please don’t hesitate to contact us here, Facebook or via email at support@jivaro.com

Follow us on facebook.com/JivaroPoker or twitter.com/JivaroPoker for news and updates.

For everyone that wants to start using Jivaro, the open Beta starts tomorrow, so be sure and visit Jivaro.com and sign up!
