The official Day 2 began yesterday at the PokerStars Carribean Adventure but it was not a very bright one for our Liquidpoker players. Right off the bat we lost Empire2000, as he was short stacked and cold carded for most of the day. My friend TheBruiser got knocked out by some donkey, but he wont tell me the exact details of the hand. Later on in the day I ran into TwistedEcho who told me he lost a big 140k coinflip to go bust.

A random poker table in the tournament on Day 2
RaiNKhaN got a fast start and bulldozed his way to over 100k at one point. But that was short lived as he dwindled to 45k later on and finally got all-in TT vs AK. Another guy said he folded AK, but sure enough an ace flopped and RaiNKhaN was knocked out. I checked up on mig.com later on in the afternoon to hear he was doing very well for the most part. Daut44 was also chipping up nice and slow getting about 80k by the mid-afternoon.
Then things went crashing down for mig.com as Ted Lawson raised UTG with AQ and mig.com reraised 30k more behind him with QQ. Ted Lawson gave the ol "I guess I gotta go with it" and pushed in for 30k more on top of mig.com who obviously called. An ace flopped in this 160k pot and crippled mig.com to 30k. At the end of the night the only Liquidpoker player left standing was Daut44 who ended the day at 121k in chips, with 121 players left. The average was around 150k.
Leaving the poker room I scanned the big cash game tables and saw many big names playing the $25/$50 game. Here was a good pic I got of Empire2000 playing the $25/$50 NL:

Empire2000 (Roman) playing along side 2005 WSOP Champ Greg Raymer
That night we went to a nice family style dinner with a group of players, and for once the service wasn't all that bad. I'll be the first to say that the service previous to this dinner was absolute shit everywhere we went. But last night's dinner was a nice one:

Clockwise from the front left: TheBruiser, Prevaricator, Skeetsmon, RaiNKhaN, Lindsay (JohnSmiley's girfriend), JohnSmiley, JonnyCosMo, Daut44, Missot, Lyric, and MangoD.
The night got late quick so we played some drinking and gambling games in Lyric's room for a bit after meeting up with ElkY.

Left to right: Elky, Lindsay, JohnSmiley, and Lyric flipping for $500
Totally degenerate gambling going down... sick stuff. We found out that Brian (aba20 or sbrugby) was leaving in the morning so we said bye to him before we headed out to Dragon (the night club in the Atlantis).

Left to right: Lyric, aba20, missot, JonnyCosMo, FrinkX, and ElkY
The night wasn't too eventful, for me atleast, and I ended up passing out fairly early. On another note, Daut44 is kicking ass today with over 550k in chips with only 54 players left right now!! I might do another update tonight on how he's doing. Keep a watch for it~

| Raising preflop more than 10% is somewhat wild. 5% is average. Less than 3% is passive. | |

There's that cool LIVE EVENT COVERAGE 2007 Pokerstars.com Caribbean Adventure (WPT): No-Limit Hold'em Championship in the front page, I don't think you can really miss it if you actually visit the site. |
