les' results are minorly skewed vs claudico due to him blasting off stacks the last few hours trying to finish up |
In a positive way or negative way? He was down over 200k vs claudico at one point before getting some back |

i wonder why old pros who were considered high level now suck vs the new guys? is it more complacency than anything? the game is not physical unlike mma, boxing which youth can change the dynamics, while poker is more cerebral like chess which older people dont get their asses kicked by younger players. or just the sheer scale of smart people unlike the smaller pools before? |
These days older people do get their asses kicked by younger players at chess:

Average age in the top10 is 29.9, and 7 of them are between age 22 and 29. |

also, not a chess expert but it seems like chess has matured as a game over a long stretch of time, whereas poker has mostly developed over the last 10 years. so pros come and go much quicker. There is much less incentive for these old pros to work 10xharder for 10x less money. why dwan keep playing online when he can play chinese mafia bosses for 5000/10,000 blinds lol. |
