 The people responsible for World Series of Poker are already preparing to release a full schedule in February and so far they have given us a sneak peak of what to expect from the biggest and most important poker festival of 2017.
The 48th World Series of Poker will take place between May 30 and July 17, 2017 in Las Vegas, USA.
Entire series will start with standard $500 Casino Employees Event. The $10,000 Main Event will begin on July 8, while the final table before the November Nine break will be played out on July 17th. So far no info has been given if the payout structure will see changes promised last year.
The $565 Colossus event has also been confirmed for a third time ever on June 2. This event attracted 21,613 entries this year with a first prize of $1 million going to Benjamin Keeline.
Besides "The Colossus" in 2017 we are going to see few events make a return: the Millionaire Maker, Monster Stack, Little One for ONE DROP, Seniors Event and Ladies Championship.
888poker is once again the official partner of the series outside of the US for online qualifiers.
As previously announced, next year will also see the World Series of Poker Europe return, for the first time in the Czech Republic.
The full schedule for the main WSOP is expected to be released in February 2017.
