Pokerstars uses pretty invasive system scanning utilities. Pretty sure I've read that they actually full blown scan system software, installation packages, known files and registry keys, etc etc etc. At least I remember there being a big hooplah about this years ago and how deeply they look at your system. Or it may have just been in the EULA granting them this access whether they actually used it or not.
