dont fold pre. ..thats bad advice.

i really dislike the minraise tho.

3x is much better and 4x may even be better.

flop is good .. turn is good ... u bet the turn in order to protect your hand the times he has a random heart in his. so u accomplished that, now all u need to do is chk the river and hope he chks it back cuz that will happen a good amount of the time and u will win. your value bet doesn't ever get called by worse on the river.

should probably make it $9 on the flop and shove the turn

Why wouldn't you fold 56s utg? I've heard someone (think it was ansky) say they won't go lower than 9Ts (or was it 89s) If I saw someone opening 56s utg and they would have like 20% utg I could just 3bet all my value + bluffs... Do you just want a laggy image or something?

TO be honest I prefer 65s over TJs on reg only table because with suited broadways you are dominated so often cause people will flat higher broadways when you open utg instead of 3betting and that leads to shitty spots oop. And it's hard to get value from TP weak kicker when your perceived range is strong utg.
A lot of people will have tight range open KJs fold lower suited broadways and then add baby suited aces and 45s 56s 67s etc, that way your frequency is low you aren't dominated and can actually have a hand on low boards apart from overpairs.

mort - i open hands like 34ss, 57ss etc utg about 12-15% of the time, you can't have the exact same range from each position each time, way to exploitable. This here though, was a clear fold pre, at the stake im at, balance isn't needed, and these guys don't know my new ID name yet.

Bullshit, I hear that man, I used to so often, I been studying so many cg hands on the LP, and you guys have been making really small reraises back etc. figured I'd keep alot of his range in with a smallish re-raise, (marshall actually posted this in one of my hh's -

"...the way you play ... id bet that you get a ton of folds to c-bets on the flop but then get very few folds when you barrel the turn cuz you bet so large on the flop that you isolate your opponent's strong holdings and let him get away from all his marginal ones and his floats that think it's now too expensive to peel." -Marshall28

I'm working hard on my betsizing etc from that, its so true. I used to cbet to big and reraise to big..........
