btw if anyone thinks this is bad poker etiquette, I completely disagree. This game isn't all about being an emotionless poker shark. At the end of the day there are some exciting fun moments to be had. This is one of them and if bringing some mannerful chatting into the equation when you have the nuts for 300bb pot is bad etiquette, I don't really care.

redrain, you can call it bad poker etiquette or distasteful, I can't argue with that. But calling it rubbing in their face is complete bullshit. In fact it is the complete opposite, its more like I'm scared to lose a big pot so I say hold, not that I want to rub it in his face that I have the nuts.
and if it was right to call me a douchebag there, then you are calling snider a douchebag here since it is exactly the same scenario. In fact, a lot of people were able to express their opinion without resorting to personal attacks. |
