This pretty standard or not? Only 18 hands on villain - 35/15/ 60%AF over that almost meaningless sample. I raised turn with the intention of calling it off as I thought I had zero FE Vs his likely 2p/pair + draw range. AJ possible of course and maybe TT.

get it in on the flop instead of the turn, by waiting to the turn to raise you either get a scare card and he shuts down, or you get a blank and just get it in with much worse equity than he would have on flop

Was in 2 minds about this as either I am behind to 2p/TT/AJ or I fold out a lot of draws on the flop. Felt if I called he would barrel all draws and I had so much equity that getting it in on the turn if he fired could rarely be bad. Having played the hand on reflection I think I agree with you but I wanted to check what people thought.

yea as played i would def flat turn. we have showdown value sometimes and we aren't folding out any of his value range that takes this line.

Yep - agreed. I think I would rather get it in on the flop than flat flat and have an ugly river decision.

Thanks again.
