calling river fine?

villain is a reg who's pretty straightfoward.

flop, his hand became face up and i bet smallish to make it look like a steal. On turn I just felt like taking it to showdown. And then river wtf. I don't really beat anything logical, but wtf...

in retrospect i like a 4.50 - 5.25 flop bet size better but whatever...

There are twice as many QQ combos on the river as JJ and he could definitely be value betting them since you checked the turn back. 5 on the flop is definitely better to get value, I like turn/river.

id bet 5/7 on flop like normal
ch behind turn is fine u can bet to depends on your dynamic w the villain, if u bluff alot IP vs a standard tag and he sees you as kind of aggro, dont expect that here atall though so checking is fine to do a standard nit potcontrol

he prolly dont have "the top of his range" (since he wouldnt really be this tricky w anything, he could do it w KJ but its pretty unlikely since u got KQ and the J on the turn, he might have AK or maaaaaybe AA of he is some nitty type who wanna potcontrol it alot 4way here) so bluffing here 3 streets would be a cool spot if u only get called by him to the turn w folding out the other guys

w some type of dynamic w the villain if id fire 3 streets w KQ on this board and hope to ship river if i dont expect him to show up w AK or AA here like ever ever ever cuz why would he play it like this, just stupid imo to play a guessing game since no one is gonna bluff raise him anyways on this board 4ways.

so i think u have the best hand here like 98% of the time, the only that beat u is JJ, and maaaaaaaaaybe KJ

but in situation like this its kind of a gross spot on the river w KQ, i want to raise but cant really do it
his bet is so gay but id prolly raise it up small to 16 or something and fold to a shove expecting him to never bluffshove or ship KTs type hand

calling is prolly the best/normal superstandard though.. dont really need to think at 50nl
