I play a lot of suited connectors this way, raising from mid or late position. pretty much I have stopped flat calling preflop, and if i'm going to play a hand come in with a raise, and whether i have 54 suited or AA I raise the same amount. Is this a -EV play? It works pretty well for me at penny stakes but maybe it's a bad habit I should get out of

no, but maybe raising every playable hand in late position is a bad idea for later on down the line
