i think checking and continuation betting the flop are both fine. if you check the flop it's ok to flat the turn. this is a spot where you're often catching a ace, a pocket pair, or AK. Pretty much any A will go with you at these stakes, so no need to raise it early AK is gonna go with you and stack you. Pocket pairs may bluff a bit but will fold to that raise, so I think all you do with that raise is lose value since the hands that will call it will also call an all-in on the river.
