this is a hard situation, i think i might bet turn or i might check it...
cause he has no money (and thus i think of him as donk) i would probably bet it and get pissed off that he has Q9, which reminds me that he is a donk
If the guy has more money I check it because JT just made his straight and the guy might be slowplayin KQ which makes the only hands we beat KJ KT and K lower....(i dont think 2nd pair calls, at least not at my level)
so since this guy has 1/3 a buyin i push turn, and forget about this hand
if its a full buyin player, i pot control if i feel like i'm going up against something stronger (ie check) or i bet about 70-80% of pot and fold to a raise.
in this situation fine, but against a full buyin player your gonna want to fold to raises....in any case if the Th comes out on river and your still in hand its easy fold |
