You could bet fold because it'd be crazy for him to shove anything worse but... it's 5 buy in so prob not folding. |

i'm pretty sure i'd weight his range towards Qx or pocket pairs...most Ax combos i'd imagine he'd 3 bet preflop with...and most certainly AT+ will 3bet most combos vs you |

Sorry, not a massive amount of info on villain, other than he seemed passive but reasonably competent. small sample size, 23/5 over 100 hands.
Problem I had with this hand was my sizing. Im at the river with 21bb Pot and 25 bb stack. Akward sizing, bet folding leaves me crippled. betting small leaves me open to alot of exploitation, and check calling seems bit passive. Shoving seems stupid. All in all, hate all my options lol.
I know people say its only a $5 tourney, But bare in mind it is a FT with over 1000 entrants. People dont get to FT doing stupid things. I just cant see anyone ever getting out of line here. Does a Qx call a large vbet on river? I think Ax will def call any bet on river, so there is some thin value to be had. And it is possible he has a weak Ace. He could even have AT/AJ - its possible. I think I will be always 3betting those hands pre, but this guy can take a passive approach espically IP vs me. I came into FT CL and i was reasonably active so there is that. |

Well I punted off on this one. I went big vbet on river, and just snap called his jam off like a complete donk. Wasnt till after I realised, that was super bad! Think I bet like 18bb or so.
A8o - In fariness just a cooler. But def could have got away with some chips if I really thought it through. |
