Qd a really bad card for him to have to make this call but a pair of 9s def beats a lot of bluffs we could have - QJ, QT, JT, suited clubs, and all hands that caught some kind of straight draw on the turn. in fact there are so many possible straight draws on the turn that if we play this way with all of them we probably have way too many bluffs (any 6 or 8 is at least a gut shot). also if we don't jam with our Kx hands on river we won't have very many value hands either

yea I dont bluff with all the straight draws, I use the lower ones to bluff since I can make the JT QJ to fold and I dont block them
