After years of research it is time to release my findings:

PLO
Heres my next topic:
Why do I feel better when I get the money in behind? I have way more positive thoughts like "Oh man i got a chance, im gonna suckout!" but when I get it in ahead im like "Fuck, AA vs TT, im so fucked"

do you think the higher variance of PLO will affect how much fun you have overall? |

Depends on the person I guess.
Personally I have fun regardless PLO, prolly cuz im an action junkie. Beats (losing as a favorite) come so often in PLO with edges being so small that you just become immune to it. In NLH they come less often and you can still get emotionally tied to every one.
NLH is fun until you play PLO, then you cant go back and enjoy because its so inferior in terms of fun. |

Why is that? Is it to do with the better hands coming up giving more variety as opposed to NLH's pairs most of the time? There seems to be more 'drawing to stuff' hands in PLO as far as I can see, just wondering why people like it so much lol as a micro nlh player. |

Well if you like action its fun.
For instance I can play 4 tables of PLO and be involved in enough action to keep my attention. If I played 4 tables of NLH i would shoot myself w/ all the dead time. At NLH you fold more because you have less playable hands. Also, NLH is mostly a one street game. Most hands are done pf or on the flop. In PLO you play alot of pots to the turn and river. |
