The Pacific aka Band of Brothers 2. Is finally here. The first episode aired last night on HBO and it was really good. If anyone on LP likes these kind of series this one is a must watch. It will probably be the best thing on television this year.

Just rewatched the entire BOB set (have it on DVD) this week. Super excited about The Pacific but am in the middle of changing cable providers and dont have HBO yet. I guess it will be sweet when I do get it tho cuz then I can watch a few in succession without having to wait a week for the next one.
Also here's "The Making of The Pacific" for anyone who is interested. I don't know whether it will be better than Band of Brothers, but it's basically the same series again but based on telling the story of the war in the pacific. They should both stand as great series on their own.

I DVR'd it and I'm hoping to watch it sometime this week. HBO better come through on this cuz their last few series have been fucking awful. How to make it in america is terrible. Bored to death will bore you to death. Hung was also pretty boring.
