Had a really crappy table for the big part of the day with a bigstacked Mike Macdonald (timex) to my left, some 5/10 reg I know a bit to the left of him and then some 50/100 player from bossmedia or whatever in the next seat. Got my fair share of cards during the earlier levels and despite some suboptimal play due to random factors including my lack of live experience I played fairly tight and ran good enough. I think the day started with like 113 players or something and it's 27 left now. I'm in place like 13 or something with a little less then average. Have 37k going into day 2 with blinds of 500/1k and a 100 or 200 ante. Not quite sure. 150? Whatever. I guess I can steal a bit to begin with and then just tighten up and reshove on people. I guess like 60-70 people will make it to day 2, and maybe top 25-30ish will get ITM so when I'm rested again I think I'll bring the out the big guns and see if I can make a run for it or at least go out in a blaze of glory.

Also played the sexiest hand of my life.Miss Belgium minraised UTG, I flatcalled AcTx on the button, blinds folded. Flop comes KcQcXc, UTG checks, I stare at her, ehh, eyes for like 30 seconds and then I bet like 2/3rds pot. She folds pretty quickly

Nice to hear you're doing fine. Liked the hand from the infosite...loled a bit because I know exactly how your face-expression looked the seconds before you made the call, it's the Durrr semi-copy look..lol.

But it seems that you don't play all games optimal though. You had a damn nice fish on the hook there in the last pot described above and you do what, scare it away. Don't know exactly how wrong that line was, but I think it's definitely more +EV to first ask her out for a date if you don't bet, and if she refuses then bomb at her, not before idiot! ;-)

Further, the plans for the amsterdam-roadtrip is under progress and think we soon will be able to finalise them.
