i realize how much i absolutely SUCK at poker and how i have NO idea what i'm doing when i'm playing.
it gets me a little down but what can i do but keep playing?
i'm getting coaching as SOON as i can afford it. i'd absolutely LOVE to get a good coach.

i was exactly like that about 2 weeks ago. since then i have revamped the way i play, began discussing all my big hands w a friend, and have seeen DRASTIC improvement since then. glgl |

i've been splashing around at 100NL... i think that's a decent level to start looking for a coach |

I think your best bet at 100nl is just to really sit down and watch videos, as well as ask friends to critique your plays. Coaching can be so expensive depending on the coach. For a 100nl player, you could easily drop 1 buyin an hour. It seems like the easy way out, since you'd have someone telling you what to do. However, you'd have to really ask yourself if a few hours of coaching are going to completely turn around and revamp your game.. because you may find some quick leaks, but you're probably not going to magically change overnight. As with all games, you really just have to put in hours to achieve results. |
