This is true, however, there aren't many if any 5/10 players that i think are idiots. Usually, if you're beating 5/10 for at least a decent sample, you're pretty okay at poker i think.

It's mostly like 25-200nl players...

i know my place, i respect my elders, and i am still an awesomely shitty nl25 player =D, and no matter what downswing you hit, you're still a hero to me!

I suck at poker but I still read here a lot because there are some really awesome posters, even if the signal to noise ratio isn't the greatest.

all i have to say is...you can learn from players worse than you..when you see "bad" advice, it can be a good reinforcement for learning by forcing you to examine why its bad advice and what would be a better play or more optimal play...but of course i am a lowly 200nl player

it's obvious that people who play bad will talk with an attitude too man,it's poker. Everyone relates it to the size of his penis lol
btw my favorite part is when a known good player posts his thoughts and then 5-6 posts with the same opinion spawn after that with perhaps an incredibly small variation on bet sizing etc and nothing further to add

I just look for the green star in low stakes, and a couple other specific names. I try to listen to the reasoning of everyone else and see how they came to that conclusion.

I know what you're saying but isn't that the point of sites like this esp at low stakes and why low stakes people can only post at low stakes etc? People (like me) post shit sometimes and people who are better correct them. Although I have to say I never post stuff like an arrogant twat but I hope to learn if I post something that is wrong. Hopefully people who are better will contribute and correct bad theories?
