Because i already applied for Sears, Wal-mart, Target (apparently these were supposed to be easy to get) and i was denied all three....so....

I thought my bank would understand that i have money now by my large deposits but they don't seem to care about that, seeing as to how when i asked about getting a credit card, they said they couldn't do that because of the past experience with me.

I think I'm gonna put together a detailed article about credit, but in the meanwhile, let me tell you the first step you should take. Since you already have poor established credit, the first thing you need to do is to get a secured credit card and/or a secured loan. Start first by asking your bank and if they don't have those options available to you, you can approach any of the major national financial institutions. For a secured credit card, you leave a deposit with the bank and that amount becomes your credit limit. For the bank, this is basically risk free since if you don't pay your bill, they will keep your deposit. However, the benefit for you is that as you pay your credit card bills on time, you establish a positive credit history and your credit score will improve. For credit purposes, they will treat the payment history on a secured card the same as they would on a standard credit card so even though you are technically just spending your own money, you will improve your creditworthiness.

Generally speaking, if you take the correct steps, you will decent enough credit to get a freestanding credit card within a year or two. Then, the challenge is to take it a step further and obtain excellent credit and to maintain it. Excellent credit in the US is like being a SNE on stars. You get so many benefits and financial advantages that you will reap for a lifetime. I'll elaborate further in an article that I'll hopefully be able to finish by the weekend.

oh, and stop applying for credit cards. everytime you apply for credit, it generates an inquiry which negatively affects your credit score. you need to be selective on what you apply for.
