[H]How to Raise $VPIP?

I have a VPIP at NL5 of 15.7 over like 10k hands.

What can I do to raise this to the standard of about 20?

My hand ranges are: all pocketpairs, suited connectors, and all combinations of A K Q J. Then on the button I'm raising suited gapers to hands when no one raised PF.

I'm still getting a nice ~15bb/100 so i dont think its that big of a deal, but when I move up, I can't have too nitty of stats or I won't be making monies T_T

really open up your range on the button...especially if its folded to you, raise all sorts of garbage

what is your current vpip/pfr?

at NL5 you really don't need to be doing more than what you're doing (actually in general you dont really need to be doing more than that if u choose not to). You'll simply want to loosen up postflop a lot more as you hit higher limits, but as of now I don't think you really need to worry about it.

and yea ur late position opening range should become much wider. it really depends who's on the button (if ur CO) and who's in the blinds

umm if ur opening all of those from any position ur range is much wider than 15%

true, but it's over a small sample size as well.
