just use 30 buyin bankroll management for 6player sngs. grinding slowly is fine as youre still learning, however if you feel you can grind higher stakes and profit better there i dont see any reason not to deposit extra (however, grindig it up is safer)

But i wonder what is the good sample size to know if you are good at a level ? 500 sng ?

i just read the rest of your blog... i dont know anything about sng, just play cash but 20-25 buy in's = move up time and it's never bad to go back down.

I was actually thinking about it the other day. On one hand it is more profitable, on the other Sit-n-gos are much better poker, and when youll finally grind your bankroll to higher levels youll be much more prepared for high stakes then if you were playing the insane penny tables where anyone can call your aces-allin with 72o.

Ok i think i will grind like i said before. Then i will see if i can enjoy cash game or if i will stick to sng.
My main problem with cash game atm is that i have no fun while playing. Moreover i dont really like to play on more than 2 / 3 table and cash game is clearly designed for multi-tablers .

I will try to mass play and see how it works.

I'm not saying that sng players are more skilled than cash players or that sng are more profitable than cash game, but i really think that:

1- you can be profitable at sng ( especially if you play vs horrible players )
2- there are some skill involved.

Nevertheless nobody has answered my " sample size " question.
