They can't just tell you that you quit. You were fired. I can pretty much guarantee you are entitled to something otherwise they wouldn't have tried to fuck you over by saying you voluntarily quit thus screwing you out of benefits. Not only that but if the firing can be seen as pure bullshit then you may be in a very good position here. Don't just roll over and die speak up and find out what you can do about it! You could also hit them with a formal lawsuit just for trying to pull one over on you, and if it happened to a lot of people involved with this company, a class action law suit.

Voluntarily quit can be an advantage for CV reasons.
