I did pretty much the same thing that you did a while ago and I felt the exact same way about learning more in the real world. But looking back, I think it was a mistake and I strongly encourage you to go to school. School is so easy if you put in the smallest amount of effort and the few years it takes to graduate will fly by. At the end you will have a degree that society deems important. You may not realize it now but you will certainly close some doors in the future or make things harder for yourself because you don't have a college degree. Yeah there are people like Bill Gates and Michael Dell that drop out and become successful businessmen. But there are far more people that find themselves handicapped by the lack of a college degree.

I've known quite a few people that dropped out, myself included. And everyone gives the same reasons for it. In retrosepct, it was an easy excuse for me just not wanting to do something that I didn't want to do. If you really want to advance your career immediately, you can always take evening classes while still pursuing a profession in real estate.

If I look back at my own life, I will forever not have a college degree because I was a lazy fuck that wanted to smoke weed and play video games rather than take evening or weekend classes. And as much as us dropouts like to think otherwise, a degree is something that has tremendous value in the world that we live.

pfft you cant beat 200NL, I'm not about to confuse you with a genius!

But in all seriousness, you should almost be done school right? Just finish it, cant be that bad. Or if you crave the challenge, just overload your courses, take like 6-8 courses or w/e the maximum you guys are allowed to and finish early?

I fail to see how becoming a commercial real estate realtor (or thats what I think you mean) is challenging by any means.

This wont probably affect your decision but w/e

I dropped out of college after about a year.

I just had no interest at the time to even give it a chance. Ive been working for the past year and have to say... its the best thing I could have done. [It seriously would tilt the fuck out of me when people would bring this up.]

I have so much drive to succeed when I go back.

So if you need a break, and you feel passionate about this, I say go ahead and do it. Don't let anyone tell you 'well once u drop out... the chances are 1/100 you come back...' Because its up to the individual.

Anyways gl :D

well hey, any challenge is a challenge
I personally dont have that luxury of having academia being a breeze (well, its a different type of "breeze" if you uh, get my "drift" lol) so I dont really have these options. I'm just grinding out school and going to figure out where to go after that
