Short vid, only ~15 mins, 22mb. Quality should be fine.

I just moved back down to NL25 after losing too many buyins for my liking.. thought why not make a vid while playing and if anyone watches, get some feedback too.

Oh, no sound so put some music on if you're going to watch.

ty, ty.

these notes are in order as viewed in the video:

(one thing to remembeR: i advocate a ton of raising to punish limpers here. the more limpers there are, the more you need to raise. so like...for 3+ limpers, change the rule from "4xBB + 1xBB per limper" to like "4xBB + 2xBB per limper," to avoid so many multiway pots. also, don't raise very many hands if the limpers are microstacks)

-QJo on bottom/middle - potting the flop is probably too large. i think too much of his medium/weak range check/folds to a pot-sized bet. make it like $1.50-$1.75 here...the extra hands he calls with will make it worthwhile to bet a little less
-J7s on middle/middle - if the CO didn't raise, you should have been making a big raise there, to like $2.50
-QJo on bottom/middle (same hand as note #1) - put this idiot allin on turn every single time, DO NOT fold here after potting the flop. you are definitely good here often enough
-86s on middle/right - 3bet over the minraiser. make it like $2.50. if he plays his hand strongly after that, make a note that he minraises strong preflop. if he plays it weakly or folds prelfop, make a note that he minraises weak.
-Q8o on top/left - raise
-KJo on middle/right - raise, what?! that's extremely tight if you don't open raise KJo from the hijack
-QJo on bottom/middle - raise!
-J7s on top/middle - raise
-Q5s on top/right - shitty spot with the double check/raise i guess...but if you call turn, shove over his bet on the river. otherwise, don't call on the turn. if you can't figure out why, post the hand and ask
-AQo on bottom/middle - raise
-AKo on bottom/right - your cbet of $2 into $2.75 might be too large. i can't really imagine him calling $1.75 but not $2 on this board
-J8o on top/left - probably good to raise here
-K9o on top/right - vbet river, around $2.25, unless you are pretty sure he's going to bluff at it when you check.
-44 on top/right - probably fold preflop, you aren't getting very good implied odds with his stack to call $1.40 more oop with only one limper in the pot. but after calling preflop, the flop c/r is good. you can also lead out weak on this flop, flat call a raise, and check/raise allin on the turn.
-JTs on middle/left - probably open raise there, because there are no shortstacks behind you, and you're deep with a few geeks. raise JTs up and plan to bring the noise pretty hard.
-T8s on top/right - raise was probably a bit too large on the flop. pretty hard for him to ever call there. the turn fold is questionable...i don't think i'd fold KJ there, but maybe T8 is foldable.
-75s on bottom/left - raise, fuck his big blind
-AQo on bottom/middle - if you're ever going to cbet here, this is probably the best board to do it on...but it's ok to just never ever cbet in this spot.
-99 on middle/middle - it's close, i think i reshove there though because he's a shortstack. the only time i'm not playing my 99 against this shortstack is when i'm very scared of the small blind's cold call (e.g. he's very tight and loves to play big pairs passively oop)
-A8o on middle/right - probably complete there. you're getting huge odds, gotta call.
-J6s on bottom/right - probably raise
-J8o on top/middle - probably raise
-QJo on middle/left - raise
-QJo on middle/left - once again, vbet river around 1/2 pot unless you're very confident your opponent will bluff at the pot
-22 on middle/middle - flop bet is too large, probably more like $1.50

the major concept here is...

- look at how many hands DON'T go to showdown. now...realize that your cards didn't matter in that hand. you would have won whether you had those cards or not. the ONLY difference your cards make is how often you win when the hand goes to showdown, but in online play we NEVER get to showdown. problem is...most of the literature written about poker comes from people who are VERY used to playing high-showdown-frequency poker...so they advocate a style of play that is far too tight for the games we see online.

and that style bleeds into the novices and intermediate players' styles online. so...really...there are very few people who play properly loose and aggressive, until you get to fairly high stakes.

yeh I need to loosen way up in late position.. I mean that short session was like 11/7 or something.

yesterday I tried this and had a session of ~17/12 and it felt good, some of those hands like the KJ/QJ in hijack you mentioned I don't know why I wasnt raising that shit up.

In a way its good that I dropped from 1200 -> 900 in 2 days, now I can retool my game and work back up to NL50 again (why couldnt I have learnt this without dropping that money tho? )

ty again.
