Glad to see a few more states advanced today.
I'm from Minnesota so we had a vote on changing the state constitution to say one man one woman. Right now it's about 52% No - 48% Yes which surprises me a bit, but then I think of all the hick towns and the deep seeded religion in this state and it's not to surprising.
Good hip hop song to go along with the subject, heard it on my way home today and was like damnnnnn that's sick.
My work is of high quality, cheap and fast. Pick only two of those though.

marriage is antiquated bullshit and it largely fucks over men and feeds lawyers. Why do gays even want to be married? tax breaks? either way who cares, let them do whatever the fuck they want.
quite frankly I'm sick of hearing about this shit, most marriages fail regardless. Let them marry each other and lets move the fuck on. What % of the population is even gay? 5%.. for fucks sake.

I assume in most western countries you can get the exact same benefits by declaring yourselves as legal partners, without having to marry. Or is that only in The Netherlands?

There is something similar in France too and I don't know what are the differences between this and marriage.
And when it was voted, there already were some opponents because it was open to gays. Law for gay mariage has been proposed yesterday in France.

Not really, especially when it comes to custody of kids and when a person dies, it's still not at all how it should be and somewhat fucked up.
