I watched Obama's big speech today. Not all of it, but the last 10 minutes or so. Some of the stuff he said I didn't really like, and I'm not sure that I prefer him to McCain, but I will give him that he's a really inspiring dude. He gives hope, but I'm not sure if that enough. If he actually is prepared to piss a lot of people off, and not only big companies, religious nutjobs and republicans, but also trade unions and hippies I'd say he might be really good for the USA. If he continues to give favors to his friends like earlier politicians I think the situation will blow up in his face sooner then later.
On thing is sure though, if every citizen was like him USA would be mightier, stronger and better then Chuck Norris.
I really am not an early morning person it seems. I just got out of a 2hr Physics class and it was rough getting through it. I found my self dozing off several times. It doesnt help that Ive been sleeping like shit lately too. We were talking about conversions in class... like gr. 9 math conversions. Converting cm to m or inches to ft. zZZzZzZzzZz... next time we do some kid shit in class im bouncing for sure lol.

Today I have no real plans. Im stuck here at school for 2 more short classes then Im going to go home and crash for a bit. After though Im going to put in a serious session that has been long over due. I havent really had the urge to put in a lot of hands because Ive been pretty busy with other stuff. It doesnt help that the last few session Ive played Ive been running like shit too. Ive been getting outdrawn like its my job lately and it sucks lol. I put in a little session yesterday and it started off reaaawllly rugged. I though fuck sakes this is going to be a quick session if things keep going this way but I managed to turn it around after an hour and make around 40BB. I also have a bonus that I really need to clear. Its been taking years b/c of how much Ive been slacking. Hopefully I can clear it by thursday so I can cash it out for the weekend.
On one last notes... school books are a fucking rip off. that is all.
So for the week of spring break(somewhere between the 5th-15th, maybe that whole span of time if I'm lucky) I am headed to Las Vegas. I'm hoping to build a roll for it asap, I plan to play around 20 (prolly more? depends) hours live while there. I don't know anything about the casinos there or what sort of buyin I should be looking at. I figure somewhere around ~400 buyin will be the smallest games? I'm sure I will be crushing nl50 by that point (or maybe playing nl100.. cross fingers), so I'm sure the low stakes in vegas will be very beatable. What number of buyins should I have available?
How are the games there during spring break-- any different? Or do the college kids not bring much money to blow ?

I've been on a semi-downswing lately but managed to win a 54 fpp tourney with 256 ppl in it today to recoop most of my recent loses (ticket for sunday warm up - sold it on LP for $208.55)
This got me thinking, where am I the most profitable and what should I spend this year on?
I have my guide for playing made, and intend to stick to it intently, but one game I don't have on there are HU SnG's.
I'm going to spend 1-2 days grinding them and see what kind of profit I make (start on the $6 level so I have a nice cushion)
my graphs from cash (just about beakeven) and my sharkscope both tell me to stay in the SnG arena, although I feel I'm able and capable to a long term winner in cash
So, anyone out there thats a HU SnG specialist, can you give me any advice / what bi/limit do you use for these games and whats the competetion like on the levels $6 - $200+, as well as any general advice for how players play differs from level to level would be nice
(when can i expect light 3betting/4betting,etc)
This is going to be a 2 day test, if I lose 100 which I think its highly unlikely since I've spent the last year playing HU for cash and MTT's which kinda mix perfectly for this, then I'll continue with mostly cashgames and some 45 man SnG's
If this succeeds then I'll cut out the 45 man sng's for the most part and stick to FR / HU SnG's (I got this idea from a recent blog someone posted on LP on how they are OWNING HU SnG's for thousands and they were fairly new to poker)
Hey just updating some of you as I have been asked to make a blog post explaining whats up and why iam in 10nl again etc.etc. Ever since my last blog, I recieved an offer to be staked for 10nl because I was wasting time in 2/5nl apparently, I accepted, I don't normally accept decent sized stakes. Anyway I just finished day4 playing in 10nl.
I have been running quite shitty recently, breakeven/downswinging a lot. I have started battling against my tilt issues which were pointed out by people in my previous blog on how to control them, as you can see on my graphs, that I have coped with and still carried on! I upload most my hands and beats, hoping to be pointed out when obvious bad plays are invovled!!
Basically all I have done in January so far is play poker, working on my own fitness/weights, healthy body, healthy mind, after WCG colonge, I lost ALL my fitness LOL =) Here is my 2/3 month graph, I withdrew around $120 because I needed the cash and thats why I got staked.
After disastrous 2008 time to regain all the money loss.
I've learnt a lot since my beginning on pokerstars which was 6 months ago.

none - except of the fact I've tried everything from being nit 8/5 FR through 24 tabling 25/25 6max finishing playing 50/50 HU. I know what tilt is. I tilted a lot (neillyAA alike including NL-400-600-NL1000HU) in the past trying to figure out how to avoid it as much as I can.
Now I can say I tilt occasionally but stay at the same stakes.
I've met a teacher who agreed to teach me, hes lper too . We,ll start when i reach NL200, then he supervises me. I'll pay him back when I move up.

December was super awesome, made around 8,5k including rakeback. Failed to reach Supernova by 6k vpp, but stars is sending me 100K FPP once I reach supernova this year.
So I bought HEM and it's really nice. For all you PT3 users, buy hem. After december I stopped grinding as much as I did in december. And now that I have HEM I can post these stupid EV graphs! So here's januari. Really don't care about running below EV, I feel confident about my game and on nl100/nl200. For now I'm playing nl100, overrolled but I like it this way.
