| Day 3 and Day 4 by The72o, January 15
Today I had an break from poker.
My friend took his X-Box 360 and came to me to play GhostRecon on internet for 12 hours straight, sick stuff.
I haven't slept in total of 30 hours, so I don't think that I will play any poker on Day 4 neither.
This month's goals will be harder to achieve than I thought - I have exams at my school and it would be cool, if I could pass them.
Well... we shall see

| Introduction by The72o, January 15
Hello,
I started this blog, because I want to see my "after day" results and I think, that should make me to play better poker.
Right now I have ~1000$ bankroll and I will start at NL25 6-max games, because after 500$ December downswing I need to regain confidence in my skills.
I have three goals:
a)Short-term: have 1500$ roll and get back to NL50 before end of January.
b)Mid-term: play minimum of 30k hands per month (starting this month).
c)Long-term: became good poker player with solid bankroll and good income.
,
Good Luck to Me.

| NL10/25 by YoMeR, January 15
My first thoughts of comin back here is like "holy fuck i want to kill myself". But it isn't so bad as you find that you can sit at 12 tables and they start handing you stacks of 10 or 25 dollars respectively. I adjusted my game dramatically to more of the ABC style and maybe run a big bluff 1 out of 4000 hands O_O ( even that isn't nessicary it's just out of sheer boredom ).
First week went by as expected and put me right on schedule: to hit NL100 by end of this month.
I had to tweak my play to a lot more passive pre with good drawing hands and much more aggro with premium hands. I did the standard 4x bb + 1 for each limper. folded AQ and lower Utg. But raised up AQ mid pos raised up almost everyone in LP that was in the top 4ish teir of hands. I occasionally 3 bet people that had tendencies to steal blinds on button. And it's probably one of my biggest winning plays as the micro stakes players will fold or call then fold to a c bet on flop. If this works 2 of out 3 times it's break even pre. and if they do call more if they fold at least 1/2 the time on flop it's still + ev. I did a lot more limping than i like but hell, if you hit you get paid off huge. Oh and i think playing Full Ring at the micro stakes might be even more profitable than 6 max. Why? because you can play more hands for less money. Nit down. Hit and still get paid off anyway. And blind stealing is a breeze.
First day: 1-8-07 started with a measly 110 and felt like shit as i was partying the night before. After about ~3000 or so hands i stopped and ended the day at 150ish. No interesting hands at all
2nd day: 1-9-07 Today was quite interesting has my friend you guys all know him as Rush on the forums joined everyone single one of my 12 tables and eventually 12 table HU with me as well. Bad idea for him as i took about 10 buyins off of him and had him donate to the YoMeR needs a bankroll fund. Played about 4k hands today ended the day at around 250~
3rd day: 1-10-07 yawn nothing big today cept 6k+ hands and + 20 buyins. ( i hit a major rush ). ended day around ~ 500ish. There's one specific hand that comes to mind tho. Out of the 10k + hands or so that i played this is the only one that is semi interesting.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/132040
This hand is pretty standard actually when I think about it. But i let the clock go down pretty far and was just about to fold it when i was like "this is NL 10 fuck it" And i was about to get 3:1 to boat up anyway ;D GAMBOL TIME. But seriously fold this. With that much action on a multi way pot 1 guy will a straight, 2 guys will have sets and one donkey with over pair.
4th day: 1-11-07 I usually don't like to move up at just 20 buyins so I split tables. For this session i played 8 tables of NL10 and 4 tables of NL25. Nothing much happened except fishes shipping over more buyins. Played about 4k ish hands ended day around 750.
I didn't play much on the weekend except Sat/Sun Played a little on thursday. But all in all played about 20 k hands this week and ended the week at 950.
More to come.

| Hrm.. by YoMeR, January 15
Howdy folks. This might be of interest to you micro stakes players as I went broke last december due to my monkey tilt ( i havn't tilted all last year cept december and all it takes is one tilt sesssion to ruin a bankroll). Anyway I just started playing poker again after a break with 100 dollars last week. Made it into 950 so far. I'll continue to post and track progress and maybe post some hands that might be of interest to micro stakes players and maybe help them out.
I forgot just how easy these micro stakes were tho ;D
Note: i have gone broke at least a good 7 times in the years that i've played. A combination of bad Bankroll management and tilt. Mostly bad bankroll management ;(. But i've been known by my friends to rebuild bankroll quickly and maybe these blog posts can help micro stakes players build their bankrolls quicker.

| Hej ^_^ by Svenman87, January 15
Hrmmm well this is my first blog so I'm sure it'll be terrible...
I just got back to Mankato State on Saturday after a month break. During that month break I played exclusively live 6/12-15/30 Limit [ 15/30 - Out of my bankroll ] But I had luck on my side apparently
Because I turned 200 bucks into over 3.5Grand in a nice 45-hour week.
After Depositing over 1500 I decided to use the last 2grand and put it back online.
My history online is not that I wish to remember :-(
Last december i deposited 200 and ran it up to 1.3k Then i proceeded to play/run/whatever bad and ran it down to 600 before I cashed out fearing I might lose it all.
So I think with this 2K deposit i'll really try to discipline myself and stick to my limits and ONLY NL/Limit Holdem (I would play Razz, Stud, Stud H/L, Omaha, and H/L)
Anyways I'll check back in a few days with a few hand histories/updates
Talk to you all later ^_^

| Moving on UP by tae-g, January 15
Yesterday I began my ascent to NL10 as a result of fantastic advice from the ever brilliant LP.net community. I'm doing fairly well at this limit so far and am making a ton more FPP than i was at the penny tables so ill clear my deposit bonus within a few days.
I feel like my fishy game has recently improved by lightyears after watching GP PITF and BigBalls FR and 6-max midstakes videos. Their explanations and practical application of position abuse, cbetting, inducing bluffs, and extracting value have taught me a lot and helped move my view away from ABC weaktight poker.
Hopefully ill continue to have success at NL10 and will move up to NL25 within some weeks (or months) when my BR will allow it.
Cheers LP.net So much information has been available here to help me improve my game and I hope to one day be good enough to give something back to the community.

| Uhm by SakiSaki, January 15
I always though about making a blog so now seems to be the perfect time. Im quite sure im not dedicated enought to keep one of these running but whatever. I'll give it a shot.
Im currently battling one epic motherfucking downswing. I peaked my roll on about 9-10k 2 months ago or so. Since then i proceeded to leak more than half of it away. I recently realized how bad I have been playing. Basicly, my autopilot game has been way to loose and Ive been playing way to many hands oop. Also, I threebet resteal way to much from the blinds which is a big leak aswell.
I urge all players who are in an extensive bad runs to look over you abc game properly.
Anyways, Im slowly grinding my way back up 8-10tabling 200nl on full tilt. Hopefully i will hit a sick heater and i'll be playing 400nl in no time Im more motivated than ever to put in some sick hours so hopefully i will be able to play atleast 5k hands a day.
I will probibly try to post some interesting hands in this blog if i can remember it.

| My first month of poker by TopGear, January 15
So its been a little over a month since my first deposit of $50.
I have turned that into $130 thanks to my luckboxing a $4 190 man MTT and getting sucked out in 3rd. I was chipleader with 6 left at 100k while 2nd had 50k... I could have folded into 2nd place, but thats not the right attitude, I have to gamble to become 1st.
Im playing NL25 way underolled, but until I feel I cant beat it, or at least break even, im not going down. (it plays just like NL10, people are incredibly bad, I just have to not lose buyins).
Its a good experience so I dont mind learning the hard way, even it is "-EV".
I also bought HoH v.1.
And rekrul is right, Blogs really are fucking gay, and I feel like a douche for writing one
