So I've made the switch to 100% cg right now. After having the worst summer of my life both poker-wise and irl. I had the worst tournament run in my life making 1-2 FT in like 300 tournaments - beyond horrible.
I have/had a bunch of things irl that didnt go my way and it sucked ass.
Now onto things, sOah staked me for one session of NL200.
Results
So I kept $1000 to start off playing NL50 on stars. Well the hud fucked up, and I was down to $825 so I got money back on FTP and proceeded to play cash there.
Like a Rollercoaster
So here are the rest of the results - ROLLERCOASTER
Shoutouts to Stygg because he's a cool guy and can anti-tilt anyone.
And to sOah, because your an awesome friend <3
i met this girl online because i put my phone on craigslists and she kept texting me so obv being the optimist that i am, i thought she'd be hot. turns out she's fat and kinda ugly and gross looking. not like obese but you kno. and she's white and she tries to act all ghetto and stuff which = THUMBS DOWN
btw i'm also playing in some $11 tourny on stars and i'm like 178/300 which is more or less not gonna be itm.
I'm 19 years old and really unsatisfied with where I am in my life right now. My narcissistic ways tell me that I deserve better so here I am to write down my goals to be accomplished within the next year from this date.
- Get a job, and not quit having a job for the whole year (i have interviews already)
- Set my poker goals easy yet high at the same time. (Move up 1 limit a month and have 100k easily by the end of the year in my br)
- Get a girlfriend. I've never had one and it's probably -ev but I want one.
- Keep eating more healthy + maybe start working out + keep drinking way less like maybe once a week
In the end of all of this or if i just totally crush my goals i wanna get a poker house to live with other guys who play poker in some area away from where I live now.
The plan for right now? Play like 5-10k hands a day and really get the ball moving. There is a local poker tournament with a $550 buyin or so that is gonna be totally sick with 200bb starting stacks and stuff. I wanna have half of my action on it so I need to come up with $225 or so to play in it + find people to buy the rest of the action. If no one will online I'm pretty sure i can find people in real life who are very interested because im sort of a local celebrity in my small rural town for playing poker and they all think im a god or something because i sorta made a living from it + crush every local homegame ever played.
If I can't play in that tournament though I'll live with it but I really just feel completely obligated to play it in my mind and it's a really good goal to motivate me so that's what i want to do even if its pretty much way outside of my br.
I've already played 3k hands today (fuck you chrisT18 whoever you are @ lp you run like god seriously) and it's time to go play like at least 3k more hands.
If anyone would be interested in buying action on the sick structured live tournament If i make it to a financially respectable position within the next 12 days or so i'll post here and see if anyone is interested.
Help me not to fail, I hate losing and im playing against a pretty tough opponent that is my bad habits.

I've been losing so much with AA/KK recently i came up to make bad decision like the last hand, i fucking folded KK on the button vs a 4 bettor as deep as me. 1 week ago i'd have fist pump called instead, i think i've lost all my confidence and i'm struggling to break even, dropped like 30 bis now ? didn't keep track of my losses...
I feel like shit and i have to admit i almost cried like a little girl after being 2 outted for the xth time. Oh and i just killed my mouse too, why would someone be that affected by a game ? Time to quit and move on maybe ? Time will tell.
how do you kill an aggressive baller with a big chip stack??? slow roll him on everything??
***EDIT***
Are there people on here that will pay me to play in tournaments?? b/c i'm on a fucking roll right now.
seriously if some baller has like 200 bucks and wants to pay my entry fee for a tournamnent i'm sooo down for that. like you provide entry fee, i provide leet skills and the winning prize...
in example...you pay for entry into sunday millions and i play and if i'm ITM we split like 50/50...details can be worked on later.

So I finally feel confident enough in my PLO game to mix it up and do 4 tables NLHE 2 tables PLO, had my first such session today and it went alright. Started out down 2k but made a come back and when I stopped playing at midnight and fired up my PT stat windows I noticed I was only down 200 - very nice.
Starting out playing HU on 2 tables (PLO one, nlhe one) and 6 max on another two (well, waiting lists anyway), got kinda crushed in the PLO HU ^_^ Didn't run great and might not have played great either, not sure.
I played >waaaay< too loose initially, probably an effect of playing so much PLO for the past 2 months. I had great difficulties keeping my VPIPs below the 40s initially (like 40/30, 36/30). Think I was leaking a reasonable amount of chips playing this way hehe.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505406 - It seems really weird for him to pot a jack here, I considered moving in but ended up wussing out.. (if he doesn't have a jack I'd put him on some kind of pair that called for 2 pair and is now bluffing)
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505403 - Here I'm trying to bluff him off the 3rd nuts.. I dunno if it's brilliant but he did time all the way down... At least he didn't snapcall or I'd have been tilted! Btw I really did think he was quite likely to have a boat (maaaybe a straight) because of a previous hand where he made the same halfpot bets with middle set IIRC.
Hold'em hands: http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505400 - First time I see him, I haven't played on ipoker in a couple of months, but he was quite aggressive with 3bets from the blinds, and seemed reasonable (he had like 24/21ish stats over the small sample I had on him iirc). He'd 3bet a couple of times and I 4bet him the 3rd time I think (with a bluff), which worked. Do you like a raise/call on this flop or a call/call (and probably call again?)?
I'm unsure how many pair+draws he'll have in his range.. Vs his specific hand I could have obviously gotten the money in but I'm not sure he'd call with hands like 87s or if he'd 3bet those.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505399 - Too much omaha for me? He snap-potted turn then hesitated a while on the river.. I think I missed a pretty easy valueraise here (although if he reshoved on me I'd be really fucked?).
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505397 - It doesn't make sense for him to have hit this flop with much, I think AQ 3bets, 9s MIGHT 3bet, AA and QQ certainly does 3bet and I block A9 and 99 anyway. So he probably has a draw.. I guess he can have like AT type hands too? Call flop/raise turn good? On the river maybe I'm missing a valuebet again, I sort of just wanted to see what he had. Actually, once he checks, I'm probably always good and should bet.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505396 - Another hand where I really think I've played too much omaha.. I'd expect a ten to raise me on the flop quite a lot, so I was sort of worried he'd have like an underfull. I didn't bet turn because, eh, I felt like I should be tricky since I'm not really gonna be double barreling here a ton. But then I realized I can't very well check/raise here if I expect him to raise most tens on the flop.. So I settled for call/then on the river I dunno, like every midpair he could have been calling me with has a boat now. Bet bet bet probably better..
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505391 - Eh I really didn't expect him to show up with this hand.. He's quite fishy but had such a high fold % and low WTSD that I was briefly considering if I should be checking, but you know, I have TPTK..
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505386 - Huge trainwreck of a hand, I was timing out due to having a difficult decision on another table so just hit the pot button. Same super tight/passive (19/5) villain from the above hand calls me.. I dunno, I hate that ace a lot =[ Not sure I like my turn bet if I check flop, maybe I should just check again.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505381 - Blah, I thought he was the minraiser so I put lots of overpairs in his range. Not sure I like this stackoff now..
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505379 - Snapcalled before I noticed he overbet shoved. I might have called anyway, although I think he was trying to get me to call when he did these overbets.. Meh. Losing with trips to top boat for a buyin isn't too bad at least.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505378 - Maybe this is too fancy, this is like my 2nd hand at the table.. IIRC I thought this guy was a reg (probably saw him on a bunch of tables) and thus I don't think he has AK very often. When he calls flop and checks back turn I put him on like 99-JJ so I shove river to try to get him to call those hands.
Terribad sans history?
Kinda missed a loooot of valuebets today (in the hold'em, I think I played very well in the Omaha 6 max games) but I'm happy that I didn't really tilt much and getting back to even was nice. I've been sleeping like shit lately, going to bed at like
1 am, falling asleep at 6 am, waking up at 6 pm.. Trying to stay up to turn the clock around but falling asleep cause I've been sleeping so poorly that I'm just too tired. Vicious circle really.
So 4 years ago at my best friends graduation party we were all pretty drunk, and at around 4 in the morning we had this great idea to hang up a bib (bag in box) in the ceiling and let everybody go around a circle and drink it. Whilst doing this we sang a melodic tune going something like this: "Bag in box och thailändska pojkar" - which means "bag in box and little thai boys". Now in the song that they released they had to change it from thai boys to thirsty boys.
Here is the youtube vid that was released:
The song itself is an inside joke and is not to be taken too seriously but they some how got signed by warner music. So they had a release party a month ago which I went to with a free bar, which I didnt know about and kept paying (run good).
Anyone interested in running a set of like 50-100 $4 180 mans? I'm willing to be very flexible with the rules/terms of the stake
my stats
on this one look at the red mark right before the $5 mark and that's my ROI in these $4 180 mans over a relatively large sample (like 300-400 or so probably)
For my situation im massively bored with grinding nl2, I keep using all of my winnings to gamble in tournaments that i can't afford to luckbox something eventually but it isn't working and i have been really unlucky in mtt as of late.
Just looking for a change of pace and looking at something different than nl2.

Ok, first of all, me and floofy bwbet a lot. Lately we have been playing on this map with ridiculous shit vs computers and each other and stuff. The map is entirely flat and has no terrain, just minerals and gas.
In one bet today I had a sarah kerrigan and a tank locked inside of minerals and a starport to start vs 2 computers and floofy with a canon at his base.
As the game started I used my scvs to push my locked units outside of the minerals and proceeded to win the game pretty easily. Floofy did not like this.
So later on floofy makes this map where infantry units get 10 armor and he gets to start on a random location on the map that i have no idea where is. Me vs him and 2 computers. He canon rushes me and canons still pretty much rape marines and that slows me down a lot and gives him enough time after a 24 zeal rush to get dts and kill me.
He offers the same bet but him playing instead of me as the 10 infantry armor person. He remakes the game and as soon as it starts he sends 2 scvs to my base (because he knows where it is) and I instantly tell him no bet and this isn't fair and to let me pick a random spot. We play it out and he wins easily because its completely unfair after that start.
Is what I did the same thing as what floofy did? Did I cheat and or did floofy cheat?
Can someone tell me what the fuck this means again...i feel like im runnin bad as hell but then again i could be playin bad
Just wanna vent and post some fuckin hands from today becuase im so tilted...cashed out my roll back to 2k which kinda makes me mad but idk i cant stand constantly losing. I crush 100nl so itl be ok...i hope
If somone can look over them hands and tell me where i went wrong id appreciate it
Formings of social peer groups. (long term, male)
________
Member one is the Alpha-Male.
Member two is 2nd most alpha (obv) Typically in long term relationships M1 and M2 are best friends.
Member three is close emotionally and physically with m1 and m2. However, he is generally the one of the group who is made fun of and picked on. He is essential for M1/M2 (gotta add more detail here)
Anyone below m3 is introverted and has little to no effect to the workings of the social group. We will call them outcasts.
In a true group setting long term based, there should be no more than 3 members in a social group. However, the 3rd member of a peer group can easily be misidentified and seems easily interchangeable.
ex- in a setting with four people you might not even be an m3, you're an outcast. However, in a group of four with two different people and two people from the group before you are now the m2. Power, age, and social status all determine this and where your total rank sets you vaguely determines your position.
In the first few meetings among people who are not familiar with one another we will consider to not really be social. This phase is more or less everyone acquainting themselves with each other's alpha and determining ranks. Once ranks have been established social interaction can take place.
there is also a hierarchy of social groups in terms of alpha.
So. In this instance of theory, we define alpha as our feature which determines where we sit in social peer groups.
________
Rules
M1 Starts the group for recognition and fame. Being M1 is good for acquiring all of this within your equal female counterparts in terms of social status.
M2 joins because he is yet to gather enough power, age or social status to start his own group or because he has a secret "man-crush?" (i don't know how to describe this without making up a new term) for this person that he wants nothing but to follow and loves them so much that he has no problem forfeiting alpha to be associated with them
M3 joins because he is of a often much lower peer group and it’s his big chance to move up. Should he garner enough skill that rubs off of M1/M2 He will eventually upgrade. M3 is the expendable unit of all social groups, he is there temporarily to feed and grow.
________
M1 is typically the life of the group. He makes all decisions and leads the group
M2 will always agree with #1, if he isn’t agreeing there are serious problems within the workings of the social group. The group will temporarily break and if things aren’t resolved you will find both seeking new peer groups and both attempting to be M1(Except for m2followers which are described below). M3 will always follow one of these two in hopes of moving up the ladder. M1 should never fail @ forming a new social group however he may have "man crush syndrome" and in a power drunk thirst join a higher alpha group as a M2/M3.
M3 Can vary, he may either agree or disagree. Should he agree it doesn’t really matter, should he disagree he will most likely be berated for his comment and end up agreeing anyway or move on and try to form his own peer group.
________
In times when M1 is absent M2 will no longer disrespect M3. M2 can be categorized in two variations. Someone who always follows or someone that wants alpha glory. In the first case M3 will very often become the "alpha" of the two and actually act as the leader. Should the M2 have higher aspirations in his triangle, he has dibs on being the acting alpha in the absence of the M1. It seems, however a very common occurrence for the m3 to take alpha over the m2.
It seems as though M2's are the only ambiguous personality types. People who are generally M2's and are more of the "mancrush" type will always be M2's. Presumably because anyone who can be an M1 would only upgrade to a higher alpha group quickly in a m3 fashion and/or because m3's are only in the 3 spot because they are leeching trying to gain alpha.
in short m2's are generally ambitionless and happy with how things are. M1 and M3 have higher goals.
Furthermore, should the M2 be absent from the group the M1 will no longer disrespect the M3 and the M3 will move up to the spot of M2 immediately.
________
Short conclusion
Until your body can decipher everyone within the whole group's alpha level social interaction isn't social yet.
Alpha presides in both the groups as a whole in comparison to other groups and individually within the group.
3 people max for interaction although in some instances like a party I think the m3 can be swapped quite often in the span of a very short amount of time. However say the group was stranded on some island for the rest of their lives, eventually someone will take the 3hole for good.
The basis of my entire theory lies dearly in the fact that given enough time to know one another in a situation including 3+ people eventually all of this will play out.
In groups of less than 3 you are forced to be social and you generally unless way out of the other person's league in terms of alpha will have equal respect for one another.
OMG if one more person gets this wrong i am going to flip my SHIT.
ACCORDING TO THIS WEBSITE...
"Nuts
The nuts are the best possible hand for a given board. For example, if the community cards read 2-3-4-K-Q with no possible flushes and you are holding 56, you have made THE NUTS (23456 straight)."
IN OTHER WORDS AA IS NEVER THE NUTS UNLESS THERE IS AN ACE ON THE BOARD AND NO POSSIBLE STRAIGHT OR FLUSH.
SHIT!!!
"you have an over pair, you got nuts" no. nuts = top set on rainbow flop like 2d 6s 7d. so if you have 7h7c YOU HAVE THE NUTS.
Hey fellas, so i went with my family who's visiting us from europe to the Falls, i had a really great time there. I also decided to go play some live since there are two casinos near the Falls, niagara casino and Fallsview Casino.
After dinner, i decided to go there solo since my family doesn't like much gambling and think im an addicted gambler and i'll prove them right this night lmao. My grandfather was a sick gambler and would spend all his paychecks on games and marijuana so my mom is strongly against gambling and smoking for obvious reasons. So i went to Niagara Casino since it was the one closer to my hotel and i didn't want to make a 30 mn walk to reach the Fallsview, first let me tell you that casino is not really great, you have to look for the entrance for 15 minutes before you find it and inside, it's just plain ugly.
I registered for cash games and got assigned a seat 45 minutes later -_- i put my stacks on the table and the dealer tells me the maximum buy-in is 100$, "isn't that 1-2$ no limit ?" i said and he told me yes but the maximum is 100$. Good start. So i put the rest of my chips in my pocket and post the bb, This was the first time i was playing with real cards and chips (im from Montreal we have only electronic tables) so i was kinda knew in things you could and you could not do.
I quickly noticed this table was sick juicy, there was that retarded aggro drunk guy on my right who was ordering beer after beer and was here obviously to spend his money gambling, great i was here to make money. On his left and to my right was this old dude, he had white hair and a white beard and was smelling like shit, he was probably running something like 85% vpip 25% pfr and would stack off with mid pair all the time. When he reloaded (every 2 hands) he would get a big stack of bills worth probably 4-5k$ from his pockets. When i saw the money i almost had a boner. There was this guy seating on my right who was half decent but it looked like a suffered some beats and was complaining/berating the drunk guy. The rest of the tables was 2 tight weak fishes, 1 obviously young internet player and the other seats were changing consistently.
It was a sick juicy game, the first playable and came 30 mn after i sat, i got AKo UTG+1, the half decent dude raised and i 3 bet him, the young internet player called me IP. Flop came 457 rainbow, the utg checked and i decided to fire a cbet, the young guy folded and UTG called, T hit on the turn, he checked i checked. An other 7 hit the river and paired the board, he checked and i push my remaining stack announcing im all-in, i put him at the moment on 66/45s or a combo draw. I thought he would never check the turn with an over and he started moaning about the board pairing and i knew when he said that my bluff would go through (remember it's only 50 bbs, i pushed for pot and he was getting 2 to 1). He folded and i took the pot.
Later on the next playable hand i get is AQo, Santa Claus (the old stincky guy, they called him Santa because he had a white beard) raised and i 3bet him, he was raising a lot of garbage, i got 1 caller and Santa called oop obviously, flop came Q35 rainbow. Santa donk lead and i 3 raise him, the other guy folded, Santa called (obv), turn is a 6, Santa has 50$ behind and checks to me, i push and he insta-calls me. He showed Q4, river is a 7. Standard bullshit, doesn't bother me that much and figured i would have many occasions to take his money.
So i reloaded to 100$, i get dealt rags and i don't know if it's everywhere the same but the dealers were extremely rude. One of this faggot wanted to give me a warning because i was speaking french with an other guy at the table who happened to be from France, i remembered i should only speak english while a hand is played but he could have told me gently, cocks sucking faggot. The dealers were changing every 30 minutes (dunno if it's standard or what) but many of them were very rude and would berate me even when i told them it was my first live game. "Don't put your cards behind your chips", and so on, i was starting to get really pissed by them and promised i would tip the minimum for the rest of the night.
Also they were urging the players to make their plays, and even one dealer called the clock on one player who had a hard time in a hand calling for his stack, WTF ? YOu guys tell me if it's standard or if it's BS i have no clue, but i hated it. I had to make a sign to them so they could give me 30 secs to think about a hand, i mean what the F is that ? Anyway i get dealt crap for 2-3 hours, missing sets std hands until i get dealt KK.
An EP weak fish opened and the guy i bluffed off from my first hand called, i swear to god i heard "Raise to 20$" from the dealer so i repop to 60$ and they were all looking at me stangly, in fact he raised to 12$ and they both insta-folded, i could not make it more obvious fuck me.
Nothing happened until i get dealt 88, 2 limpers already in and i decided to limp also, Santa called. Flop came 68T, check, check i bet 2/3 of the pot, Santa called and EP called, turn is a J. I bet, santa raised me and EP called, back to me. It was 3 am and it was like the 4th hand i played, after reflexion it was an easy fold since this guy cold called and the board was heavy connected pot but i fished myself into pushing putting Santa on two pair or something dumb and this EP guy on TP or something stupid (he just joined the table so i had no reads on him). They both snap-called me, Santa had 79o for the flopped str8 and the EP guy had 9Q, river didn't pair the board and my stack was gone, yeehaa !
I should have kept playing since it was really juicy but it was real late and the 50 bbs rule + the dealers were annoying as hell, so i decided to go back to the Hotel. My mother asked me how much i've lost the next day and when i said 200$, she looked at me like i was a pedophile and a loser, that was hilarious tho...
So if you guys are visiting the Falls and decide to play some live poker, i strongly don't recommend you go at Niagara Casino, this is one piece of shit place to play Poker if you ask me. Next time i go there i'll go to Fallsview.
------------------------------------------
Oh on a side note, online is going terribly bad, i think i dropped 20 bis at NL50 and i tilt a bit, which is weird since i didn't tilt for a couple of months and i think im really running like uber shitnitz. Hopefully it will turn around soon, /cross fingers.
When i joined this site, like everyone else i wanted to learn more and play better poker.
Since joining this site in may i've made made about $50 bucks...
Since i started playing online in january until may i was up $180
All i've done since may is read read read ya'lls posts and such to see how i can improve my game. I do what you guys say others should do in similair situations and i just lose more money b/c your like "blah blah blah be aggressive, ship ship ship." One hand i had AK. There was a flush and str8 out and i kept calling down b/c he was really loose. the riv was a K and i won a nice pot w/ pair of kings and ya'll bashed me for not shoving. wtf it's just a pair, i knew what i was doing, call down b/c he's loose and theres so much that beats me. Based on my read calling was +ev.
Today i was told i played this wrong...

Let me explaine what i did and why...
First off, we're heads up. Heads up, big hands are not going to happen nearly as often as they do full ring, 6 max obv. He has been very aggressive with 4 players, heads up he was very very tight, but i've seen him reraise allin 3-4 times prior to this hand
I call the blind, he reraise 3x. I call again. Flop comes out, i have a pair. He bets out 1/3 pot and i have a pair. Obv call hu. River comes and it gives me two pair. At this point, since this guy is low on chips and i am obv ahead, i'm taking him to value town. I wanted to get his chip stack down to where #1 he puts in a good amount now #2 he has to shove on riv. River comes and he caught runner runner flush. BFD, there is nothing i can do about that. I wouldn't play this hand any differently 100% of the time. He played like shit and got lucky. Thats life. I don't know how you can say i played it wrong.
ANNNNYWAY, done ranting and raving. I had a good day in poker... online, i got 2nd in that tournament which paid a nice $48, and IRL, i played cash game 50nl, bought in with 20 and walked out with 69...
Total profit = 114 bucks.
Money in teh banks.
In life news, i played golf friday with the head coach of #18 in the nation in highschool football Euless Trinity...
Bunch of HUGE ASS SAMOANS... This is the Samoan war prayer they do before every games
Anyway, josh hamilton is a fucking bad ass. He had 98 RBI's at the half way point of the season. Since everyone here is European and don't know anything about baseball, but know a lot about soccer, let me put it in terms you'll understand
98 RBI's by the allstar break is like a goalie kicking 1,000,000 goals in 2 games.
