Was at a friends after partying for days and wasn't really in the right poker mind set but felt I could still do well. Ended up losing about $270 dollars over 800 or so hands. I drove back home, got something to eat, cleaned myself up and was determined to make all of that back. Luckily, I received a $200 donation from a donkey (hands below) and I outlasted the bad beats to come up $50 for the day over 3k hands. Here are some amusing hands for your enjoyment:

BR related news. I'm at $3500 and UB decided to be generous and offer me a $500 reload bonus up to 100%!!! So $500 extra + rakeback = my new goal for this month is to reach 5k before I have to go back to college. I won't be starting 100NL until the 23rd (when I move back) so hopefully I can easily reach my goal at 50NL..maybe go a bit higher with some good runs  . Cheers.

Play 185 hands in less than 15 minutes, make $100 and then bolt? Oh well...BR is $3300 (with rakeback, should be close to 3700). About to hit my goal of 4k before I have to go back to college. Cheers.

Played around 800 hands today. Went up ~$100. The good news...i've finally reached the 3k mark on UB (3300-3400 including rakeback). Can't tell you how good it feels to be building a solid BR. Last few times i'd get upset and cash out a thousand here and there and leave my BR pretty meager. My goal of 4k before August 22nd stands, should be easily attainable (knock on wood). So i'll start 100NL when I reach 4k. Hopefully by xmas i'll be at 200NL. 200NL is a place i'd like to stay at for a year or so. I think that's the first limit where I can significantly improve my game, so i'd like to take advantage of that to the fullest. Hopefully i'll be getting drunk tonight. Cheers.

yesterday i dropped ~$240. Lot of bad beats. Today, however, I was given a lot of donations and made it back. I'm now getting into the habit of reviewing all of my hands to find some leaks. PT (<3) makes it so easy to do and i'm noticing a lot of stuff already. Highly suggest everyone starts doing this...if you want to be a baller like mig you need to put in the hard work. Cheers.

played about a thousand hands and went up 3 BI. Pretty standard day, only have 1 hand i'm not 100% sure on. Other than that, couldn't be better. Parents got me a back massager (for the bed) for my bday...that's very +EV.

another slightly up and down session, ended up about $70. I've been thinking about all the terrible bad beats i've been getting. My calculations...cut out most of the bad beats and i'd be well over 3500. Now i'm at 3000. Oh, well. I'll be posting some hands from the session as soon as I get them loaded. Going to get drunk for my birthday tommorow and go play some pool. Cheers.

Well this summer didn't go as I expected. I thought I could jump right back into poker but it didn't work out like that. I lost interest very quickly so up until a few days ago I really haven't been playing much. Now I finally feel motivated and i'm trying to put in 3k+ hands a day before I have to go back to school. This poker week was somewhat brutal. Started at 2500 (50NL), went up to 2700. Few days ago I dropped ~$400 in a session...absolutely brutal. So many bad beats. Luckily I got back onto the horse and yesterday I put in the time and won it all back. Today's session was pretty random. Up $80, down $300, up $30 (standard UB bad beats). Ended the day up $130. BR is now over $2800. My goal is to hit 4k before august 20th. We'll see how that goes. Cheers.

Up 4BI's. BR is now 2200 and i'm playing off and on sessions that coincide with my hectic schedule. Feels nice to be able to pull in 2+ BI's a day that come out to be more than $100. Cheers.

starting 50NL tommorow on UB. Just hit the 2k mark which means i've been running well. I can't wait actually, if I can do well on 50NL before the summer I might be able to reach 100-200NL over the summer. Cheers.

not having rakeback is costing me so much money. Anyways, I played a few small sessions today (2 hours) and went up +200. My BR is now 1800 and i'll be starting 50NL when I hit 2k. Also, i've been teaching an IRL friend how to play and i'll soon be teaching my father how to play (the next aba?). Cheers.
