Hey guys,

Looking to move about $350-400 from FTP to Stars. I have reputable members who can vouch for me and I'm always willing to work out a trading arrangement that would be suitable for both parties. Thanks.

My FTP for Your PS
  Sanai, May 03 2009

I know these blogposts are super common, but I thought I'd give it a shot. I have $290 left in my FTP account that I'd like to finish transferring over to Stars. Please contact me if you're interested - I'll send first and I can provide members who are willing to vouch for my authenticity.

Thanks all.

Just one of those days....
  Sanai, Feb 04 2009

Yeah... so I think this following hand just about sums up my poker day:

I was tanking over at another table (I 7-table) and quickly came over to this table to get in the hand, but I misclicked a window and the precious seconds it took for me to minimize the other window and get to this table caused me to sit out accidentally....

LOL.... even when I get timed out and folded out on KK, it turns out to be the RIGHT move ;P

Seriously though, it was just one of those days when you are on your A+++ game and can do no wrong. I didn't even run especially well in terms of cards, but I was making very sick call-downs and those hands that I did get it in ahead with held out very well. Not to mention, there was an INSANE number of fish at the tables tonight. Poker is easy when the villains are shoving over you on super-dry flops with shit like 75o.

Anyway, a bit of a life update: I've returned from MOngolia and am now grinding a pretty cool financial administrative job (mostly bookkeeping and accounting and data entry) by day and living it up/pokering by night. The job is 8-5 and pays $60k annual salary so I'm pretty happy - it's my first "real" job as a college graduate (I look upon Peace Corps as more volunteer work, which it is) and I must say, it's quite satisfying to have money in your pocket and be able to afford to do things like eat whatever you want, buy nice clothes, ship some monies to your parents/younger brother, etc.

In other news, I took the LSAT and scored a 172 so I'm pretty happy about that - will be putting my apps in for law school this coming fall and starting in fall 2010. Until then I'm just trying to save as much money as possible for the poor student days to come. Part of this means putting in time with poker during the early evenings when I'm relaxing after work and really focusing on moving up stakes and improving my game so that it can be a trusty source of part-time income during law school.

Anywho, cheers guys. I'm up 8 buy-ins for the day and NL25 is coming up very soon. For those of you on a downswing, remember that there are good days as well as bad days... I feel like for many of us, poker is about just trying to LOSE as LITTLE as possible during our bad days and maximizing our good days. So stay strong! Though, tbh, I'll probably be crying tomorrow when the flipside of this heater/good streak smashes me.
