so after a really swingy January I'm basically breakeven for the month up $400 lol
started down 7k
then up 17k
and now even
I cashed out over half my roll and lost some more monies
I still have over 50 buyins for 3/6 but I think I'll play 2/4 for the rest of the month and we'll see what happens after

its 5am and I can't sleep so I decided to hop on and play some 5/10 HU needless to say it didn't go so well and I proceeded to lose every pot though most of it was tilt/spew

school in like 3 hours tho so I can look foward to that lol

this is my second year playing poker and I'm pretty disappointed in myself as I didn't put in nearly enough hands and had tilted/spewed away a lot I also stopped moving up for whatever reason and limited myself

In total I made 130k or something this year and ran like 50k under ev which probably cost me a lot more money since I spewed a bit when I ran bad

I feel I've gotten better the last quarter of the year at tilt control and make less mistakes but still fail at getting hands in

I'll take tomorrow off and in 2010 I'll try to improve and move up and play twice as many hands as I did this year and play all of them to the best of my ability and not worry about results

I moved out 2 weeks ago got a 2 bedroom apartment for 1050/month which I guess its pretty decent I like it so far and I'm learning how to cook so hopefully will lead to me eating more healthy

school starts again next monday 6 more months and I'm done with highschool and I'm deciding between taking a year off or going to college I'm leaning towards taking time off since I never really did well in school mainly due to me not really going and really genuinely not liking anything about it that and I have shit grades and CANNOT get into ANY university and some colleges lol

if I do wanna go I'll probably have to wait till I'm 19 to apply to college as a mature student or 21 for university I think? this is for Canada so correct me if I'm wrong

I also look forward to playing some live poker when I turn 19 next year at niagara falls

at the end of a medicore session today I was up a buyin but after quitting my tables I left 1 because I had direct position on some drooling monkey 2 buyins deep and was stuck 2 buyins on that table

I proceeded to lose every pot I played against him and every other person on the table and ended down $700 after he left obv its not much money but for some reason this tilts me really badly

now usually this is where I reopen all my tables and start playing again but decided I can live with being down a buyin

after the shitty november I've played about 13-14k hands and am down about 22-23 buyins in december which brings the total to about -14k at 2/4 - 3/6 nlhe and -9k at 2/4 plo since november 15th

definitely not playing my best but also running insanely bad which led to the tilt and bad play

I know its no use whining/complaining about this all I can do is try to play my best at all times and not tiltspew away buyins which is a disaster while you're running bad and in a big/long downswing but its definitely easier said than done

hopefully I can play better/stop spewing and then even if I lose I can't feel too bad
