Hmmm lol.
At the start of this month, I set myself a goal of hitting 28buyins in 10nl in one month... I did it in 6days, surpisingly!! I set myself a couple of goals; hit $500 this month, work out leaks and posting more around here. I have approached each one and I feel all are going really well!
All I have done in October so far is play poker, every day, all day. Obviously I have stuff to do on the weekends such as playing football, going out in the evening/nights. All my friends are either in school/college during the day, or working so therefore all I do is spam hands... Sad or cool? Anyway, here is this months graph so far. (told you I would get graphs for my next big blog:D)
I have been playing poker online since August the 22nd, its been 6 and a half weeks since I started, I completed 2nl,5nl and 10nl now. I have played A LOT of hands though.. and seen the rough sides of poker and its effect on life in general, some bits are great, some are not, but I do enjoy this.
I spent the weekend railing peachy in the EPT, was good to watch and I feel sick that he didn't win because everyone knows he was by far the best player there. Ul.
Just organzied that Midian is coming to stay at mine again this month, from the 13th-22nd I think, over my birthday which is the 14th, so lots of beer will be drunk and money spent :D Looking forward to that, didn't even realize it was coming my birthday until this morning hehe.
WCG is coming around the corner, I will be making the trip to Colonge, Germany with the rest of the UK team, sadly I won't be there to win anything since my heart is in poker. I will be there to play poker, play some games and drink some beers The event starts in early Novemeber!!! I am meant to be also doing some EA event in Trafalgar Square later on this month, haven't been filled in with details, but I think I am playing some American/Japanese players at EAs new game, Red Alert3.. Will blog these when it gets closer and I know whats happening!!
Don't think there is anything else to talk about... so ill love and leave you now, going to take a shot at 25nl, should be able to do well. Thanks for reading and from the support of the people I talk to on msn/forums You know who you are!

Well... I have already blogged most of september in my previous post so I am just going to update you with things since then!!! For the last few weeks I have been running horrible... really bad, but thats poker and I am not going to dedicate an entire blog post moaning about variance because that sucks, if you could check out my hands possibly and if you see any leaks/situations I could avoid, then please let me know on the hands

Unfortunately, ive been playing on my desktop so I can't update via graphs/stats but I can via TEXT!!!!!!!! I shall have my laptop back today so in my next blog you will defs have updated graphs/stats!
I have been back and forth from 10nl 5nl 10nl 5nl 10nl, because of running bad... I have a tight bankroll management so moving down doens't bother me too much since I am here to learn at these stakes. I had a phase where I was multitabling between 6-12tables at 5nl and even in 10nl, very robotic, very BAD imo.
I am currently sitting on $220, so still rolled for 10nl and will continue through October playing these limits until I get to $500. I am starting to question my poker skills... its been 6weeks since I deposisted money to start to play poker seriously, and I am still in 10nl... how long on average does it take until a player moves out of 2/5/10nl ? Though I am not willing to give up if I am below the average player
My October Poker Goals:
1. Main one obvioulsy is push for $500, which would mean gaining 28buyins over 31days which should be possible!!!
2. I am concentrating on 4tabling 10nl, really getting a feel for players/table (I don't have or use ingame stats) I want to improve my game, not robot it out, quality not quantity!!!
3. Post more in the forums, I feel this will express my opinion instead of keeping thoughts to myself, and then hopefully be corrected when out of line in thoughts.
4. Really concentrate of identifying LEAKS... I already know of a few and already started the plumbing work!!!
I should be meeting up again with ToTMidian again sometime this month which will be interesting, always lots of poker/beer played/drank when we hang out!! Hopefully be looking to get PT3/HDM before the end of the month also..
I think thats it really... can't think of too much else to write apart from, if anybody wants to chat/talk poker whatever lol, feel free to add me on MSN!!!

Hey guys.. thought about updating this, haven't done since the end August... well lets gogogo!
In this blog, just going to update you with how things are going for me in poker and how real life events effect your own poker mindset.
I have the worst month in terms of real life that you could imagine... Going through a extremely rough patch with my girlfriend at the start of the month which dragged out until last tuesday where we then spilt up. Everyday inbetween I felt horrible and it effected my poker mindset. Like many have said, run bad in reallife, run bad on the tables. ToTMidian stayed at my place again at the start of the month and we both played lots of poker during the day and went out drinking/socializing during the evening! A good week in that aspect as he is a good friend.
We watched many CR/othersite videos, both high/low stakes for both our benefits. He talked me through his own mind set when playing and what he saw of my playing. Even he could see I was just simply running horribly bad, losing some sick winning %+ hands... Nothing I could do.. went on a crazy, downswing, highest peak was $410 down to around $95 playing 10nl and dropped into 5nl.
After dropping down to $95, I rebuilt again, up to around $375... but having no job/income I had to withdraw $300 to pay for my new football boots and my football expensives for this season... I was forced to withdraw which REALLY sucked.. but thats my fault for not doing something about money before hand. I recently applied for part time bar work to support me while I build my bankroll/consider what I am going to do with my life...
Having been AGAIN dropped down into <$100 on my bankroll, around $75. I rebuilt again from 5nl and I am currently sitting on $205 on my roll. 5nl was destroyed fairly easily and then I went back into 10nl. Here is my graph/stats since I started rebuilding from $75 as my new roll.
This is 5nl/10nl combined and here are my stats for both games below.
I think my gaming is now completly out the window.... which is a shock for me as I thought I would be playing games for quite some time, but the lack of income and value in playing games that aren't SC/WC3 sucks, and even then you need to be playing at the top level at those to make decent money. Having won worldcybergames and samsung european championship for cnc3 I went into playing starcraft hoping I could take my skills into that game and possibly look at a professional path for sc2... I brought starcraft and went from 0games to iccup C- in about 4-5weeks which was quite decent, took me forever to get my first win though, think I went like 0-80 before I even won ONE game vs complete noobs  from there things got better
I then realized that there isn't any value in learning a new game because it takes so long to get THE BEST at it... so I stopped playing starcraft and thats how I got into poker again...
Found it quite tough getting over my girlfriend, we were together for around 4months. Luckily I started to realize that there ARE more and better girls out there, went to house party last night and met this really amazing girl and thinks started to brighten up again...
To conclude this blog entry, real life is tough... gotta keep ya head up otherwise you lose important things and start to sprial out of control. I almost completey lost a lot more this month than just my girlfriend!!! Including my bankroll if I wasn't careful. Things are back on the up and I hope some people can relate to this blog.

My last blog was extremely lol. Since then I have picked up poker again after meeting/talking/playing with ToTMidiaN at wcguk08, (few weeks back). I had $50 on UB and after watching him play again, it inspired me to takes things little more serious and actually think/pick up poker. Since that weekend, I played about 5days on UB, didn't do anything impress on UB because it was full of shortstacks and I just simply didn't like the software...
Then ToTMidan came to stay at mine for a week and half way through the week I installed pokerstars! With $44 remaining on my account, ToTMidian stacked a guy twice in headsup which put me at $70. From here, I played 10nl, 6max, 6tables.
12days later..... I am here summarizing my 12days on stars, my August.
Started really well, with huge upswings then went on a huge 20bi downswing, mixed with badbeats, running horrible and tilt. I then gathered my head talked to midian on msn and rebuilt to where I was before my downswimg!!
Anyway enough talk crap, boring sometimes.. I am looking for 25nl very soon after my 2weeks of poker.. quite good but then again, check my hand count

Back2basics

Hi, I am d.Apollo, a professional gamer. I have been playing poker randomly for the last few months, on and off, on and off and now I want to really knuckle down and start to actually improve my game through the different stages of poker. I have been up to a br of $300 playing at 10nl but because I am not consistent enough, I lose quite often but now I am trying to play properly from here.
Today I started playing at 2nl on pokerstars with a $50br, the session went well, played around 300hands and ended up just in the green with ups and downs from different situations where I probably played bad and also had some people lucking out on me.
I think my biggest problems are 1. My ego from being a gamer and 2. Tilting issues, so if you guys have any advice on those things anything is appreciated. I will upload my stats from the 300hand session this morning as well. I normally 3table 2nl because I get quite bored playing 1or2tables not sure if this is a weakness or just normal behavior. If any1 is on the same levels, 2nl,5nl,10nl id be happy to add on msn for conversations and such because that is another thing I am missing out on, poker buddies!
Anyway iam going to upload this pic and then get back to the tables.
